keel said it before, it really depends on which Superman is being used. Superman has differing shows of his strength. there are some instances where it's stated that Superman at his prime is able to juggle planets. a ridiculous exaggeration since it doesn't seem at all possible but it's similar to what you think Goku is able to do.

1 thing, goku gets stronger each time he fights. so if there's a chance of sups pwning goku's ass, that will just make him stronger. stronger goku = swimsuit sups. 😛

Well teh thing is a fight would have to be decided in who's universe, Goku's or Superman's. If it's Goku's universe, if Goku beat Superman, then he cou.ld just come after some training in the underworld and come back then probably kick Goku's ass, and Goku has used up all his returns to earth. In Superman's world, kryptonite is available. I'd also bet only Goku has chi there, so no last minute gathering energy from plants or other people.

Also depending what Superman we're talking about, Superman could just drag Goku into space and he'd die almost instantly.

i agree with this assumption, between the two of the universes their basing their fight in would heavily influence everything. not only that it's like i keep saying, which version of Superman is being used makes a hell of a difference too. there are times when he's been unbelievably powered up to the point where he's just untouchable.

true enough, there are a lot of variations to him so it's really not easy to pick a specific one for the comparison/fight. but i guess we could go with splitting it up between the comic ages for him like Golden, Silver, current, and such.

Goku doesn't use the sun for an energy source, its the moon when he turns ozuru, which only happens a few times.
