Also, is it just me or have the fiery female leads fallen out of vogue in the past ten years? Seems like in the late 90s/early 2000’s those were all you could find, now it’s becoming a bit rarer. I miss feisty and kinda goofy female leads.

The only one that comes to mind right now is Akuyaku Reijo nano de Last Boss wo Kattemimashita, if I think of any more I'll post 'em.
