My best guess is because dudes like that tend to give off more self-confidence then men that care. And according to all of those self-help books and high-school lectures, people like people with self-confidence!

Someone once told me that women who are psychologically unhealthy keep dating the abusive type. I never liked the term 'psychologically unhealthy' it just sounds like they're borderline retarded or something.
Don't know where I heard this from but I think it was my Sister lol. (She was divorced from a rather abusing husband 2 years ago, bless her 😃 )

its just a simple game of cat and mouse
if you always get attention when your ignored by that one person you just try to catch their eye
simple as that so its completely on the person themselves not everyone can be describe as such
though from what ive seen just about 80% of the sane people are either people who want attention and people who dont and that where they usually attract each other opposites attract?
however you want to call it just my theory on that

My grand parents are polar opposites and they have been married for 57years. They do argue about twice a day though lol. I think they just learned to tolerate each other.

From my own experience, no. Especially when it comes down to long-term basic differences of opinion, such as how to raise children, where to retire, and how to live day to day.
My parents are a prime example of this.

That use to be true, nowadays the girls got smarter. They learned from their moms. Rather than finding a hairless ape looking douchebag whose going to become an abusive son of a bitch in 10 years, they find a nice educated responsible man with a plan for a future. Douchebags are only good for one night stand. They are like toys. But a real responsible man, that's what you want for someone to spend the rest of your life with.
Another theory is that woman use to want muscle, big strong man as mates for protection and safety. But our society changed and so did women's taste. They now prefer the more refined and sensitive man who isn't a hairless ape that farts and burps all day with a beer bottle every 10 minute.
After all, real courage and character is on the inside.
