Not gender specific. I like cute things and I'm a guy!

While I think that boobs are cute too, that is not to which I am refering.

I should rephrase. DO girls like cute things, as is portrayed by popular culture, and if so why?

Most girls do like cute things. Why? Because they're cute. What better answer is there? And I wasnt refering to boobs when I said I like cute things. I'm talking about things that a girl would find cute.

That is boob reference was what we call a joke... quite funny.

And while I appreciate the fact that you want to be a female, my dear xombie, you are not.

I would like to hear a females opinion on my question.

However, zombie's got a point. Cute things are inherently aesthetically pleasing, therefore making your question a little silly. And the reason they are more likely to display that manner of aesthetically pleasing stimuli than a man is societal expectations which advocate men shouldn't show an obvious interest in cute things. So, well woman are not particularly predisposed to cute things, society simply allows them to show cute things without being depreciated in value.

Anyways, although this is the ask the opposite gender forum, men will answer if you ask questions that can easily be answered by both genders

As a girl I agree. XD I think men like cute things too, it's just that women have more freedom to "express" how much they like it. It's not a very traditional "masculine" thing to say things like "waaaa!! that's so cuuuuteee!!", isn't it? bigrazz Whereas girls can say it and glomp cute stuff without restraint. XD

Well when you put it intelligently like that, I guess that I must consider the merits of that theory. But why is it a societal norm? Most societal norms have a foundation in logical, cultural, or natural roots. It is the same question as 'why do men like Heavy Metal', or other things like that. All I can do is speak for myself, and since I am a man, I have a man's perspective on this. But I guess my question was a poor attempt to question the foundation of the aforementioned societal 'normalcy' and not so much a shallow attempt to poke fun or make a superficial grasp at 'the meekness' of females.

I hope that made some modicum of logical sense, although it's rambly.

whoa. . .so many complex vocabulary. . .
You sound somewhat like my English teacher laugh

"neways, one question for the females. What do you think when you see males roughhousing around? I've seen many guys "show-off" (tackling friends, pantsing each other, ect) to perhaps impress and just how much effect does it have?

2nd, just out of pure curiosity what what you people (both guys and girls) think if you were to find out that someone (14-15 yrs of age) you know or are acuinted to plays hide 'n seek every weekend with fellow 14-15 yr olds??

Well, hide and seek can be pretty damn fun in the right setting. Especially if you play it in a nice big school or somewhere really, really dark.

There is nothing wrong with the usage of a 5 year-old toddler game being played by 14 year olds. It could be quite the entertainment which can even be played by the Sophisticated adults which carry our lifes.

By trying to make yourself sound smart, you made yourself sound the opposite.

And as far as playing hide and seek, it is just so much fun! biggrin
