Well, there are small eyes, big eyes, kind eyes, intense eyes, vacant eyes, happy eyes, sad eyes, eyes that draw you in, eyes that show lots of emotion, eyes that pretty much stay the same, eyes that twinkle, eyes that captivate, etc, etc.

As for your question, maybe's going to mean different things depending on the guy. It might mean that he really likes you, but doesn't want to hurt the girl he's with, it might mean he wants to expand his 'empire' (i.e. a jerk), it might mean it's not working out with his current girlfriend, it might mean he's fickle, it might mean he's not serious about his current girlfriend and just dated her because he can't say no, it might mean he has trouble saying no to anyone, including you, or it might mean he and his 'girlfriend' aren't really dating. You would know more about the guy than us, so you'd have to work it out yourself. Like immediately following with, "what does that mean?" or asking around a little.

With people in general, what attracts me are very deep, intense eyes (cough L'ArcenCiel's Hydecough). It says a lot about a person's character. I really can't describe it very well...but it gives the impression that they're always thinking about something. It also gives a sense of emotion and feelings. What if throughout his musical career this dude was wearing color changing contacts? Guys can be coniving and sneaky too. 😛 This one guy I know acts gay in order to hang out with girls (idk why, they will never go to bed with him), but when he's only around his close friends, he's the most perverted douchebag in the world.
