Do you have more friends of one gender than the other?

  • Do you have more male friends? Or females friends?
  • Why do you think that is like that?
  • Do you have more of one gender as friends (quantity), but feel closer to the other gender (better friendship)?

Edit- If you don't mind please state your gender

I'll put my answer down later.

Now that you mention it, I realized that I have far more guy friends as of late. Probably because of where I've been making friends, which is my old college anime club. (I'm graduated but still go the club). I'm still closer to my female friends though.

More male friends.. I somehow find it easier to deal with guys than girls, I have no girlish hobbies, and at the university the male to female ratio is about 3:1, so not much of a choice there.

Really?? What kind of school is it? Not sure about where you live, but in the US, females typically outnumber males in universities quite a bit.

While the same applies to universities here, universities of technology are a different case. Some faculties have less than 10% of women. My faculty is considered "average", maybe a bit feminine even (even though girls are by far outnumbered).
