get an xbox. ps3 sucks but if out of the choices given i would go with a ps3.and besides an ipad is just a huge ipod touch

PS3 hands down if you want to game. Good games I can recommend is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God of War 3, Killzone 2 and MGS 4 just for starters. Ipad is for reading books or newspapers online and even at that there are better gadgets out there (because of the screen its bad for your eyes, you’ll get a headache after some time).

They are 2 totally different products.

If you want games, go for the PS3 .
If you're a fashion victim, get the iPad (and get some pity from me while you're at it)

PS3 (though personally, I'd get an xbox 360,) but that's because I have no idea what the iPad does.

I'd say, figure out which one will be a more productive use of your money. I've found when choosing between things, one is usually a more logical buy than the other, if only just a little.

How circumstantial! I am actually saving to buy a PS3 and a game right now.
Why would I buy a large iphone named after a sanitary napkin?
If they were gonna pick such a weak name they might as well have called it iAWESOME!

Oh if I were rich and wanted to throw my money away I would buy an ipad with the sole intent of reading manga on it.

On topic, I honestly can't choose because I don't even know what the IPad does. O_O.
And I haven't played enough of PS3 to think it's good and that I should recommend it to somebody.

you guys are downing the ipad alot lol
well i see what you mean it in some ways is a large ipod touch
but think of the advantages
you dont have to constantly zoom in all the time to read things
you can read whole pages without looking extra closely to the words
i mean, it really is a big deal to have a bigger screen
another thing that appeals to me, is the music making apps
of course i can just get an ipod touch, but once again having a bigger screen
i'd feel like im working with more of a legit tool being bigger, so i won't have to zoom in or concentrate on pressing tiny buttons
it is going to be alot easier... and going to make the experience alot more enjoyable

Get a computer. 🙂 And if you must, get a mac.
They all come with Garage Band and Soundtrack pro and Protools aren't THAT expensive.

I refuse to get an ipad because it's called an ipad...oh why oh why did I watch that video on youtube before it even came out...

i already have computer software programs, and quit a few computers

but the apple apps that they are coming out with make it fun to and veerrrry easy to make music
especially considering im using my fingers to touch and drag and tap in order to make music.
it feels more natural and makes it more fun 😃
