i think you are just looking for shounen manga. Almost all shounen characters are 1)overpowered and 2)flawed

GTO's Onizuka
power: fearless
flaw: bad luck

One Piece's Luffy
power: my gum2 will beat u all
flaw: retard

and so on. Thus ill just recommend my favourite shonen to you 😛

The main character isn't exactly godlike in power in the beginning, but he is really really lazy. He wore sneakers and packed a picnic basket for a night on patrol. Strong guy though, when he actually cares about something.

This is a little more off the mark, but the main male character is how should we say it... apathetic? He's this super god from hell, but he doesn't really care about his partner's welfare much unless lunch is involved.

Soul Eater
All the male protagonists are pretty flawed. One just doesn't care much, the other is conceited to the point where he is unable to do anything without grandstanding, and the last is really strong, but debilitatingly obsessive compulsive(Leaves in the middle of a fight to fix a crooked picture at home). Just a heads up: It's a bit ecchi, and there's current an excellent anime version in production.

Nabiri no oh
Main character is destined to be the king of all ninja, and has freakish power, but really doesn't care for fighting (he literally stands idly when there's a fight)
(warning, shonen eye themes are used as an ongoing joke, so if you're really weird about s-ai, may not be your cup of tea.)

haha.. I always find a way to recommend this title.(my favorite manga of all time)! Four guys in the series so far, one being the protagonist. Protagonist is practically a walking liability, and is a nut job when he fights. His friend is a cowardly narcotic addict that can be really strong when he's deprived of cigarettes, rest of the time he complains and tries leaving. Won't say anything about the other two ^_^

he's very lazy, but an extremely good captain. he knows how to deal with people and situation

the artwork of the manga isn't really good, but it has a nice story imho
