I know we've all heard of the harem, in which dictates one guy surrounded by three or more girls who are (somewhat) romantically into him (ex. Love Hina). We've heard of the reverse harem, in which dictates one girl surrounded by three or more guys who are (again, somewhat) romantically into her (ex. Ouran Host Club). We've seen the male harem, which could also be a reverse harem, but is a possible term for a male guy surrounded by three or more guys into him (ex. Kyou kara Ma no Tsuku Jiyuugyou!, and so I suppose a female harem can be either a harem or a female surrounded by other romantic interest females (ex. Kashimashi - Girl Meets Girl).

I know there exists out there a harem manga with both genders. Such as Ai Kora and Midori no Hibi, it is possible for there to develop a story that begins with the main lead having not only female romantic interests, but at least one male one too.

I'm looking for one that has a (somewhat) equal distribution of male to female ratio as the romantic interests, with a male lead (so not just like 3+ females and 1 guy as romantic interests, or 3+ guys and 1 female as romantic interests, though the latter would be kind of cool, too). I'm also looking for the male lead not to be a major wimpy nerd - anything else is okay, but I'm thinking normal guy who freaks out at the weirdos/number of people he seems to drawn in or something? Or takes it into stride? Or it doesn't have to be a normal guy, just not a loser.

So any suggestions, or does this type of harem manga not yet exist? And it'd also help if you guys could give me the working name of "harem manga with both genders", because referring to it like that is kind of tiring. (Then again, if there isn't a working name at all, then there's nothing I can do about that...)

Probably not exactly what you are looking for. These:

Yubisaki Milk Tea: gender numbers are probably not equal. But the guy at least has another guy who's interested in him.
Tokyo Innocent: somewhat equal distribution of both genders, with a male lead. But the other guys out there are interested in the female lead not him.

Another one I can think of is the Rose of Versailles. I am talking about the anime. The female lead has males and females who have a crush on her.

1/2 Prince works - the main character has millions of nameless fans, but in the "harem" there's two guys and maybe 2-3 girls? XD

And... uhhh... the main character's a girl pretending to be a guy in virtual reality?

Or maybe one of the Shinseiki Evangelion spinoffs includes Kaworu as a possible romantic choice? (Sadly, the spinoffs are pretty harem-ish.) If I remember correctly, there is a sexual scene between Kaworu & Shinji in Shinseiki Evangelion itself (just kissing), but it mostly leaves Shinji in a panic. But it's still there. Of all the spinoffs, Shinseiki Evangelion: Gakuen Datenroku is pretty good and Shinji isn't a complete wimp in this version either.

ETA: I forgot about Seijou Kouchakan no Jijou.

I guess that kinda of story is hard to find as I am looking for the same kind of manga and so far the only anime/manga that I "think" is close to it is Suzumiya Haruhi, well maybe for me the main character is Kyon that Haruhi, Nagato, Mikuru and Koizumi as his harem. I weird one but...
