Yep, and that is it. I am Looking for a good steampunk-like Manga, but unfortunately I cannot specify more, what exactly I am imaging, because I am lacking knowledge what there could be in the Mangaworld. Maybe something like Last Exile, for a first try. I would like to have a world setted in an alternated victorian environment, or WWI or II style.
Thank you very much for your help!

Would something like Monochrome Myst fit in your 'steampunk' definition?
Or Kieli?
Or am I completely off the mark?
Okay... I think Marie no Kanaderu Ongaku might also be steampunk...kinda

You've probably watched the anime, but the setting for Full Metal Alchemist could be considered steam punk.

You should check these tags : Steampunk, European Ambient, Victorian Era and maybe 19th Century / 20th Century
If you don't mind anime you should also check Steamboy and Fushigi no Umi no Nadia.

Thank you all. Well, FMA and Nausica I did watch both. The Tags didn't really help much, that's why I asked with this Thread for recommendations. Maybe I will give a Shot with Kieli.
not sure if its what your looking for but Gunka no Baltzar might work for you.

Like educational manga? take a look at Ed U. Manga's list of manga here
How steampunk is Trigun ? It has the Desertpunk tag eh ? Watch the (better) anime if you can take only one version. Wiki list the good Samurai 7/Last Exile(only the first season is good) animes as steampunk.
@Fapmachine. Berserk is TRUTH 😃 . Last Exile 1 is actually good with a story and all.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

Well, Gunka no Baltzar and Samurai 7 might be worth a shot. And I recalledm that I´ve only watched Fam the silver surfer, so I should try Last Exile itself.
@ residentgrigo: Berserk > all.
More anime: Again Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water but skip the filler at all cost !
Howl’s Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, Metropolis (2001), Now and Then and Here and There(kinda and very dark).
Edit: The is no romance in Nausicaä the movie eather but yes read the manga.

If you've not read the Nausicaä manga, it's completely different than the anime. And much much longer content and scope-wise. For example, the male romantic interest is just a minor side character in the manga.

City Hall, though it's French in manga style.

And thanks again. Well, then I will also look for the Manga of Nausicä. And Now and than... I hate it. Castle in the sky was grat. And I came across Simoun- that one I will try too, and ther seems to be yuri in it. I hope I wont' be disappointed.
Now with numbers: Simoun(7,5/10) is a rare yuri i liked(the last ep. is meh) but it is not that much steam punk.
Forgot Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still(9/10). What genre is the forgotten ova: Green Legend Ran(6/10) ? Play FF VI(10/10). The best after VII(a cyberpunk-ish remake).
Now and than had a bad last ep(point to it all where ?) and Sara´s tragic story turned to melodrama halfway through. Hups i guess but i still like it enough(8/10).
