Horror With The Women Folk

So...
Haven't read much horror manga where a female is the main character, so I'm looking for a horror manga where there's either a crew and lots of women are in that crew, or where it focuses on a select few and the main character is a female.
And I've already read Uzumaki, Goth, and Highschool of the Dead (And with HsotD, it desperately needs to get scanlated more).

Dragon Head perhaps? That's the closest I can think of, anyway (the focus ends up being on the girl for most of it)
Other than that there are always the obvious answers with the obligatory "terrifying little girl" lead:
Skyhigh
Skyhigh Karma
Jigoku Shoujo
etc.
Also, just because I feel obligated to through it out there, Hitsuji no Uta technically fits your criteria, but is pretty unlike the examples you gave.
edit: the assorted Higurashi no Naku Koro ni chapters and Tsukihime also fit, and may be closer to what you're looking for.

You could try one of these. They are tagged as horror and have female leads.

vampire princess miyu and many of its spin off series have horror with a main girl lead.
I also highly suggest Dokebi bride- theres enough horror in it to keep you going and the main focus stays almost exclusively on the main girl character. Dokebi bride would be the one to go to if you are looking for stories more on the shounenish side (even though it is technically classed as shoujo).

I'm going through my lists and picking out every horror title I've read with prominent female leads. You could also try looking for shoujo+horror stuff, but I get the impression you're more into the slasher variety of horror. 😀

Only one that I can think of that comes close to what you want is Deadman Wonderland, The main character isn't the girl...but she's pretty important, and then...you'll get it when you read it. Although her true identity isn't shown until around chap 10 or something, Shiro is a beast!

The only other one I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is Jisatsu Circle? All of the main characters are female -- there's only one volume though.
