its easy cause if the world doesn't exist then i wouldn't. just like one of them filosefers said "i think so i exist"(or somethng like that) but it is hard to say if others exist or if youre imagenething thing but if you image a world with people in it wouldn't it be a world you like so stuff you truly hate wouldn't exist. Well for me this proofs i exist and others do to hope it makes sense 😛

which basically means that the only thing you can be sure of is that your thoughts exist so some type of "you" exists (not necessarily your body, but at least your mind in some form).

I agree with that. I exist in some form or another but I have no idea if this world I live in is real or if anything I experience is actually happening. I might just be a conscious mind in a dark room of nothingness. XD

Like Tsu said, being real is just a concept that humans have thought of. I could say that I am real, but then with what measurement do I base that on.

What I do know, is that I am able to interact with my surroundings at this specific moment in time. And I can philosophize about the existance of life all I want, but in the end that's all that matters.

If we were locked in a room without any senses, then that would be reality, too. Anything outside what you know is not part of your own reality.
So, if you think you are real, then you are. If you don't think you are real, then you're not.
At least that's my philosophy.

I mean as far as I know I could be in a coma or something like that and have just created all of you in my mind, in which case I probably need a shrink based on some of you. There is no way of knowing though, you can only be sure of YOUR existence and no one elses. I mean because I am me I know I have thoughts and feelings, but to someone else I could just be a figment of their imagination, but they wouldn't be able to prove it one way or the other. So I'm certain I exist, what form that may be though is beyond the realms of proving or disproving.[/color]
