For some reason, I was compelled to create a DB discussion thread. We all know it, so lets talk about it. What ever comes to mind

!!! yes!!!!

i hated him as a kid, but he was kick-ass as an adult.
sure there was that movie about teen trunks, but that wasn't good enough for some of his potential.

I liked that though!

How badass was he in Bojack Unbound? Pretty freakin badass. That Trunks/Tien fight ranks near my top 5 of all time

this made me LOL.http://ultimate-guitar.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1260260

GT was passable. Not great, but passable.

I like the movies better anyway

DBZ was great when I was a little kid, but in retropect it's hilariously stupid. The rediculously overdone fight scenes with about 3% seeable action 20% HUGE explosion 20% fighting as blurred lines and 57% dialogue. I liked the fighting of original dragonball better. At least there, none of the fighters were ridiculously OP and imba like they are in DBZ and GT.

If you like DB then talk DB. This thread covers all bases.

And the while all your statements are at least somewhat correct, DB and DBZ defined a genre.

I'm not really dissing it, like i said DBZ along with pokemon defined my life as a little kid, I just explode with laughter everytime I see it now, kinda like watching those old school black and white cartoons. I bet some American's grand parents were awed by Popeye, I personally think it's rather overdone 😛 .

at any rate Dragonball was the place to be, and very early DBZ before Frieza. That was the point where it still took them time to charge up their energy attacks and they didn't move at the speed of light so we could actually see what they were doing. though i must admit, I almost crapped my pants at how awesome it was when Goku went super sayan for the first time.

It's over 9000! xD

ahem Anyways,... ._. Dragonball will always have a special place in my heart. xD Compared to the childish cartoons, when I was still a child, DB was 100x better.

DB was my first anime, that was actually worth watching.
Gohan is still my favorite.

Me love Piccalo long time. Didn't like his Dragonball form that much, liked his reborn form better. As for favorite bad guy, I'd have to say probably Raditz or one of the androids.

I remember the Ginyu force LOL they made me laugh so much. And when Gohan pulled off a Ginyu force dance as Saiya man, LOL that was funny.

My favorite DB character was Frieza, that mixture of cruelty, both-sex voice, 😕 -sex body, and pride and of course the Death Ball really got me!!
