Hana Yori Dango 1 and 2 :]
Full House
ISWAK
Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2 I've seen - they're supposed to be making a movie (with the original cast) in 2008, I think.
Full House, couldn't find info on.
ISWAK - 30 episodes..... (>_<)

its cute and all, and i guess the dramas r a good eye candy, but im not too much into it bcuz its sooooo daaaammmnnn baaaaaaadddddd for live tv!!!!! the plots r different from the source and sooooo unrealistic, the acting is simply..... bah! they normally just choose them by looks, the filming is saved only bcuz of the camera quality, and the editing is impossible.
so its a good eye candy to melt your brain, but its not quality tv.

It's Korean dorama, I heard it's good but I haven't seen it yet.
@moritana: it's fun because it's unrealistic. Most of them are.

Full House - if you like Rain then you'll love his cute doggy slave act .. very good.
ISWAK - though poor graphics i can guarantee you it is a great drama. I can't wait for second season.
My Boss My hero.. is that even based on a Manga? >_< i don't know.

No, I don't think it is. A lot of doramas are based on manga...but then a lot aren't, too. I think I tend to watch a lot of the manga-based ones because if I've read the manga, then I have a pretty good idea if it's something I'll really like. Some of my favorites have been non-manga-based, though.

🤣 I was planning on watching Attention Please because of Nishikido Ryo too!
Is Yamada Tarou any good? I was curious to see how Nino and Sho would do there... especially since in the manga Tarou gets to dress as a maid and be a prostitute. I can't imagine Nino doing that 🤣
I really liked it. I watched it this past weekend. There was no prostitute part in it, though. Nino did dress up as a maid and I lol'd at that. I haven't read the manga so I don't really know what I'm missing.

I found the Chinese dress & the ballet dancer costumes amusing as well. 🤣 Maybe I'm just too easily amused??

Heh...nope, not sure at all that I want to watch Devil Beside You, it's a "maybe", depending on what I can find, and when.
Thanks for the reminder of 14-sai no Haha, somehow that didn't get on my scribbled list here by the comp (it's added now).
😢 My torrents are moving sooooo slowly...nothing to watch...

Mods - apologies for the double post. Couldn't think of a way to avoid it, under the circumstances. 😔
Since my last post I've watched:
Jikou Keisatsu - surprisingly lighthearted considering they're mostly investigating murders; very quirky & fun. Looking forward to Season 2, when it's done (maybe it is, I haven't checked lately)
Jyoou no Kyoshitsu - waaaaay more serious than most of what I watch, but also very good. I tend to stay away from shows with child actors as so many are awful, but they got some really good ones for this show
Himitsu no Hanazono - fluffy fun with some really amusing moments, but also tries to be a bit serious esp. toward the end - mostly interesting (to me) because of being about a mangaka. Osamu is my favorite of the brothers, by far. 🤣
14 Sai no Haha - very good, also more serious than I usually watch, stars the same "child actress" as Jyoou no Kyoshitsu (she's VERY good, esp. considering that she really is just 14). This one hit a little too close to home for me in some ways, but other than part of the ending
that she & the baby's father were back together & declaring their intention to get married as soon as he turned 18 I thought it was pretty realistic.

Satorare
Elite Yankee Saburo
Hito ni Yasashiku

Hotman
Majo no Jouken
Muko Dono/2003
Utahime
Yasashi Jikan
Jikou Keisatsu 2
Devil Beside You (maybe...20 eps long... >< )
Coffee Prince (17 eps...hmm... >> )
Some of these are turning out to be a pain to find, but I'll just keep looking. 😃

I don't watch jdorama that often, because I feel like most of their acting are poor, the actors/actress are chosen because they are good looking. I just can't get the feeling.

How many & which have you watched? Just curious, because overall I feel that the ones I've watched have been pretty good quality.
Jyoou no Kyoshitsu and 14 Sai no Haha actually have pretty powerful messages about thinking independently rather than blindly doing as you're told (by parents and/or society in general), and taking responsibility for your own actions - somewhat surprising themes coming out of Japan.
Edit - the one K-drama I've watched I wasn't very impressed with, and it does make it hard for me to get interested in watching another, so if you've only seen a few & they were clunkers then I totally understand where you're coming from. 😃
