I haven't watched alot of dramas, and some I haven't finished yet,but heres my short list:
- Hanakimi (taiwan-&japanese ver.)
- Meteor Garden (taiwanese, based on Hana Yori Dango.I love Daoming Si! xD)
- Peach Girl (taiwanese)
- Gokusen
- My Boss My Hero (I like Tegoshi Yuuya in this one ^^,)
- Nodame Cantabile (Gyabo! I love Nodame)
Edit: I forgot Kimi wa Petto. -_-' Momo♥
..and that's it.

Proposal Daisakusen. Definitely watch that one.
Another one I liked was Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni. Yamapi is so... <3.
And while I've only just started LIFE, it looks good so far. ^^
I've also seen Xmas Nante Daikirai, and it wasn't great, but it was just four episodes, so if you want something short, it isn't terrible. Acting isn't great, though, but the story is kinda sweet.

I've seen Hanakimi Japanese version, & from what I've heard about the taiwan version...I don't think I want to see it. (>_<) Same with Meteor Garden...and Peach Girl, I can't abide the manga so I'll pass on the dorama. 😃
Gokusen I've seen the first & second series, but they're doing a third that I'll watch just for Nakama Yukie and whatever pretty-boys are in her class this time. 🤣
I've seen My Boss My Hero, and though it was fun, the main character was SOOOO stupid in some ways that it was irritating. Also saw Nodame, fun but not an absolute favorite, and Kimi wa Petto, which I thought was awesome. If you love Momo, you should check out some of Matsumoto Jun's other acting, though he does play a lot of VERY different characters so you won't be finding him in another Momo-ish role.

Sorry about the double post, but (again) I don't see a good way around it.
Haven't watched much dorama lately, but I did see:
Egao no Hosoku - pretty good, but nothing outstanding. Lots of likable characters and an ending that was believable & satisfying, but not quite what I'd hoped for.
Fuma no Kojiro - ok, if you have any doubts that making a shounen ninja fighting manga into a live action show is Probably a Bad Idea, watch this. 🤣 That's not to say it's 100% terrible. There were some good moments, especially in the first 1/3 or so when it almost seemed like a parody, but when thing started getting serious it kind of lost its charm (though the acting's better towards the end...not great, but better...). Not a great time investment as it's only 13 episodes of 25 minutes each.

One of my favorite j-dramas is Hotaru no Hikari, based on the josei manga. It's really funny, and I thought the female lead did a good job. Also, Iryu was pretty good. There are two seasons, but the story lines are separate (meaning there is definitely resolution to the 1st season). It's not comedy by any means, but I really got into it. It's got the kid who played Otani in the LoveCom movie, and the weird brother from Himitsu no Hanazono.
Hmmm, Pride's good too. Typical KimuTaku. I really like the lead actress, Takeuchi Yuko. Oh yeah! She had the lead in Lunch Queen (Lunch no Joou), one of my favorites ever. I've watched it 3 times. 😲 loved it. mmmmm omurice...
I watched the first episode of Yasuko to Kenji the other day. It was funny, in an over-the-top sort of way, kind of like My Boss My Hero. I don't think subs are out yet though.

I've seen most of those j-doramas, but I'll check out the two I left up there, and also the k-dramas (though they're sometimes soooo long I just can't make myself dl even if the story sounds good...)

There are actually several doramas this season that look good, but I learned my lesson with Liar Game - never start watching until ALL the subs are out! 🤣
I'm going to have to check out Iryu - knowing it has those two in it makes me want to see it without even knowing the story.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Oh, I also saw Anego, which was ok but there were too many times when I wanted to smack her for me to really enjoy it (and I'm not too big on office shows).

girlpower3, thanks for the lists - it'll take a while to check all of those out! 😀
The main thing I dislike about non-Japanese Asian dorama (aside from knowing a teeny bit of Japanese & trying to learn more, and knowing little/nothing of other Asian languages) is that they are often soooo freakin' long!! There's just no way I'm going to watch a 60-episode series - 30 episodes is probably the absolute most I could do, and even then only if a bunch of people who like the same things I do recommended it.

Most korean dramas are only 16 episodes though. They're hardly over 30 unless they're sitcoms. Chinese/taiwanese on the other hand are kinda long.
And here are some more jdramas:
hotelier
attention please
last friends
regatta(the people who play riiko and night in ZK are in this one as the main couple too~)
Hataraki Man
Haruka 17
Binbo Danshi
Yukan club
=D~

Wow...I just checked all those titles, and I now have a 1.5 page list of stuff I want to watch. 😲
Of course, some are still airing, others are done airing but only partially subbed, and others are old and hard to find, 😔 but still, this ought to keep me busy for a while.
girlpower3, I do go to d-addicts quite often, but it's always nice to get recommendations. 😀
