I read a bit of shoujo, but then again the genre doesn't really matter as long as it has a good storyline to it. Give me a seinen where 10-13 year old girls are cyborg assassins, I'll read it. Give me a shounen where ninjas in orange jumpsuits reign supreme, I'll read it. Give me a shoujo where an average girl starts dating the most popular guy in school (who has a troubling past), and I'll read that too. If the description makes me go, "Hmmmm?" chances are good that I will at least give it a shot.

shoujo + smut = great

really? lol. doesnt that formula at many times equal shameless girls that follows her sexcapades from a female perspective? 😐 not my kidnda thing. Also, now that I've discovered yuri-manga, I dont think I'd ever touch the stuff again!

lililicious scanslations = the best

57 GB of Shoujo
29 GB of Seinen
18 GB of Shounen

So like 55% Shoujo, 30% Seinen and 15% Shounen. I rounded up to a full GB.

This isn't including Raws.

I'm a guy, and almost the only thing I read is Shoujo/Romance, and just went over the 100GB of manga, so I think there are allot of guys reading shoujo manga.

And about the shoujo+smut, it's great for one-shots, but only for some. Depends on my mood if I read them or not.

100gb of manga. I would delete some, must be using up lots of space.

I think it really depends on art work sometimes too. Some shows have horrible art, and most shonen have pretty much the same style.

I get bored with most shounen pretty fast, shoujo keeps me interested much longer.
My manga doesn't take that much room, 100gb out of 1,7TB isn't much 🙂 .

When I have time and feel like reading manga, then most of the time I just use this site's search function. I filter on completly scanlated romance manga's(including one-shots).

What would I do without baka-updates 😛 , I'd be lost 🙁

Do you have 1,7 TB in only one HD?

I've read both shounen and shoujo, and I like shounen better - I'm a girl too. It really depends on the individual, and if there are girls that read shounen, then why can't there be guys that read shoujo? My guy friend recently recommended Ouran Host Club to me, and he's a straight, perfectly normal guy.
