Glasses. I have astigmatism with myopia. And also both my dad and my brother.
I use to want to have contacts because they wont get in the way, but glasses seems to be more accessible to use ^^,
I also have astigmatism and have to wear glasses all the time.
And I can't get contacts either for some reason I don't remember sigh

I wear glasses only when I really need to, like when I have to read something from a distance. My eyesight isn't that bad, so I only wear them for an hour a day, tops. Plus, I actually can't wear my glasses to look at things right in front of me, because it makes me feel nauseous. 🤢

...With this alone, I have gone too far. 😐

I'm near-sighted as well. And everyone knows I am... and I can't tell you how many times I've told them I can't see them from a distance... yet, they continue to try and wave to me from a distance and then get mad when I don't wave back. Seriously.

I do somewhat the opposite - forget that no one can tell I'm not wearing my contacts, and expect them to know that everything more than 9" away is blurry. (_~) I can get around fine at home w/out my contacts because I know where everything is (unless it's been moved by kids and/or cats) but anywhere else would be a disaster.
Both my boys wear glasses, but they only really NEED them for things like reading at a distance.

Glasses.
Hell, am I the only one who is not praised for wearing glasses? I've been told a couple of times "They hide your face". Oh come on, am I wearing a bag on my head or smth? And no, my glasses aren't some horn-rimmed ones.
No for surgery. Because it isn't safe in my country yet. I know it would be an interesting turn of fate to become blind or near, but I better poke my eye for free.
No for contacts. Not because I'm afraid to touch my eye, but afraid of cornea thinning. Besides if you had worn contacts once you can't go to surgery later. And lenses require a regular expensive treatment.
I don't have any drastic problems with my glasses, so I guess I'll be wearing a bag whole my life (or until I move to a descent country with reliable ophthalmologists).
By the way, how are you dealing with the misting state? You know, when the air temperature sharply changes from very cold to hot.

Where did you hear that? 😕
There have been local ads on the radio talking about "if contacts are too much trouble and glasses are getting in your way, call our office & for a free evaluation to see if LASIK is right for you".
I've also talked to a couple of eye doctors about the surgery, both of whom certainly knew I wear contacts, and both said I'd be "a good candidate" for it.
I've never heard anything about wearing contacts making it impossible to later have LASIK, however you do need to not wear them for a certain amount of time (2 weeks? a month?) before having a serious evaluation for the surgery (yes, I called & asked the eye surgeon's office about an evaluation once, but didn't pursue it due to the cost).

I don't think I could ever get lasik, if I did, I wouldn't have an opportunity to wear my nice versace glasses.

I wear glasses, most of the time...sadly. But maybe by this year's summer, I'll stop using them and get LASIK surgery. =3
I don't like wearing glasses because during winter they easily get fogged when I enter my house. =__=; Although I think there's something good about my glasses, they hide my bags produced by sleep deprivation. XD

I have contacts and glasses. But I wear my contacts on a daily basis. A few days ago I remembered my glasses and tried them on... man did I look BAD! It was horrible. My bro wanted me to play halo with him, so I went to get my glasses, and all he did was laugh at me... Even though I hate contacts, I wouldn't dare leave my house with glasses... so I have no choice.
life is a game... and i don't wanna win if i can't play by my rules!
I wear glasses only sometimes.
My vision isn't perfect, but I don't need them for most things, only if I want far-away to be a little clearer.
They're only really helpful for driving, seeing signs and stuff, and even then I don't have to wear them.
I mostly wear them because I like the way I look XD

I wear glasses. In fact, the only time I'm not wearing glasses is in the shower or in bed. lol. My eyesight is pretty bad, unfortunately. >.<
Contacts aren't really an option for me. My eyes are just bad and they're way more expensive than they're worth. I've been wearing glasses for so long now that if I don't have them on, I feel weird. Plus, I seem to be one of those rare people that actually suits glasses. I get complimented on mine all the time.
