I read a tentacle story once out of curiosity, Tentacle Lovers. It was unexpectedly funny and sexy, with an actual plot. So I made the mistake of looking for more. I won't say the title, since I've made such a determined effort to forget it, but it cured me of tentacle stories.

i for example didn´t know was guro was because i never heared of the word gory before. Not everyone has english as first language^^(google is your friend)

No Guro, no Yuri/Yaoi whatever and in thermes of gore not even slightly close to Berserk.
Still..this has been the only manga ever to scare me, espacially the "mosquito" part.

one that scarred me for life I can not find or remember the name was similar to little red riding hood. Only it was extremely perverse and gory. It was something like red couldnt die except by the wolf's doing so she was going around searching for him. As she does this she is always kidnapped and murdered and raped, though she isnt innocent she is very corrupt and creepy. I think there was one time where this guy raped and killed her, not sure of the order, then he like ate her remains but she came back to life and bursted out of him alien style. There was also a hit-woman that had more then one set of arms that kind of became a companion. I never did finish it since I couldn't really stomach it and I dont think it was h since it was on a regular manga reader site.

well someone recommended warau kyuuketsuki to me. I do like some horror from time to time. I saw the categories button for guro, clicked it and picked one randomly.
but that one was realy revolting so now I restrict my horror-mangas to recommendation from people I trust. 😃

I stumbled upon Tokyo Akazukin... I can't deal with children getting eroguro'd. It might sound judgemental, but I don't understand how anyone can like mangas like that. (I'm not even going to attempt to read Mai-chan). I also read MPD Psycho when I was 13, which did freak me out at the time.
Most of the time, senseless gore disgusts me.
