dude it;s ok...the thing is theres no such thing as the "one". so yoru kinda set. the probability that you can spend the rest of your life with any random girl is pretty high considering you probly don't even date many girls.humans can actually fall in love with just about anybody...it's just that our minds are usually not open to it. I've dated plenty of girls...smartt girls dumb girls teases and sluts....looking back even the ones that stand out even blend together nowadays...real life isn't a harem when you pick the ryte one...u just pick one and stick with it...look at most familes...

That is almost nihilistic. I have to have hope that there is the 'one' because that is one of the things that make life worth living. Is she the one? Maybe. Might I find someone better? Yes. I am not as flippant as to be indifferent to whom I give my body and emotion.

That was very patronizing, but I get what you are saying. I personally have experienced first hand romantic love in that capacity and have also been subjugated to painful heartbreak. And as far as knowing men who have been faithful and dedicated? My grandfather and uncle and former football coach are all men who have shown me that it can truly happen. If I were to simply look for the lay, I would feel no better than an animal. However, a man is programmed to spread his seed. I would just rather give a fuck about who I spread it to (always with BC though). I just do not want to be the kind of guy who measures himself based on who/how many women I meet in sexual congress.

i don't need love...only my friends or family...i do not measure myself through a significant other or through the ideas of what others think i've accomplished...the only thing that i define my life by are the moments that make me truly happy...the day my nephew was born...my graduation...the day i got my license...the day i won my first dance competition...my first piano recital...stuff like that...those moments last forever in my mind...i don't need a woman or some one to share them with to make them more meaningful...
