I think he meant more as if he passess through the world without ever doing anything. As in at 80 you have absolutely no story to tell to your kids. And when you die, people can't seem to fork out a speech for your funeral for the life of them.
That's also my fear along with living or dying alone, or ending up blinded/retarded/deaf. Or finding out my computer was monitored by someone.

As for secrets...hmm...I have this crazy fear of medicines, so sometimes when I don't take them I end up in pretty disastruous situations.

Well, I think I heard this somewhere: Imagine when you die, it would have mattered that you lived. Then imagine the opposite. Anyway, finding a purpose is always one of those big life questions, and I'm actually happy that people are at least trying to thinking about it instead of being totally passive and letting life go by without meaning.

I'm not a guy, but I'll answer anyway. 😀 I don't think I'd ever want to get married. I don't like to be limited in my choices in life, I've known so many married people who become shackled because they have to take care of their family. I can't imagine doing the same amount of sacrifice my parents had to do to raise me. I guess you could say I'm too selfish to have a family.

Anyway, I don't have any real, serious fear. Maybe I have a fear of failing. I am way too ambitious, I'm bound to fail one way or another.

I have the same thought, Im thinking like, when I have a job and all that jazz, I would like to spend the money I earn only on myself (my bills, my food, my stuff exc...) and when you have kids you can forget about your wants and needs, some of us cant even buy manga once a month, and if you get married, well once a year would be great if you could afford it
