Alright, this may sound totally dumb but here it is: if someone's thread gets locked, I think there should be something to let him have one final post after the thread's been locked just to kinda apologize for making it. Just wondering if thats possible.

I'm saying for like a thread thats already been made or somethin'. Threads get locked for more reasons than just 'cause the one who created it is breaking the rules.

I'd wanta apologize to everyone for wasting their time. You may not have noticed, but a few of my threads have gotten locked. I know, hard to believe, but even xombiemonkey makes mistakes 😢

I don't think it is a very good idea.

Let's say that the topic was locked for excessive spam. The last post would be an opportunity to spam a little more.

Now, let's say that the topic was locked because of offensive language. The last post is an opportunity to be even more offensive, now that the person might be angrier for the closure of his topic.

Finally, I don't see why you should apologize to the WHOLE community because one of your posts got locked. If you did something so wrong that deserves a public apologize, you will probably just get banned.

If your post got locked because you went out of topic, double posted or spammed too much, I doubt that the community will feel offended. Maybe you should apologize to the admins for taking some of their time, but you can easily do that with a PM.

I get tired sometimes though so I just lock without any comments...(especially those threads asking for downloads lately)
