I care about where my meat comes from. To end up in my stomach, it has to meet one, tight criteria:
It had to have came from a living, breathing, edible animal that wasn't dead too long ago, and isn't currently playing host to a colony of not-so edible microorganism.
Beyond that ... not much. Sure, I'd prefer if animals weren't tortured for shit and giggles, but I honestly wouldn't care if you told me that all of the meat I consume came from such a factory, nor would I be particularly surprised. You can't expect more "traditional" farms to provide the kind of output needed for today's day and age. For all the fuss that PETA kicks up in their propaganda campaigns, what is their answer to feeding our growing global population without such facilities? Oh right - tofu dogs and denial.

well, its not really a case of us being lazy...i think in some cases the consumer demand doesn't match up to the quantaty of meat we have.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I don't eat meat >>;
It's not that hard. People always act like I'm some kind of superhuman because I'm a vegetarain.
Like, "OMG HOW COULD YOU GO SO LONG WITHOUT EATING MEAT!!!?111" and I say, "The same way you can go so long without eating any vegetables lawl"
I also get the smartass remark about how I shouldn't "force my ideas" on people, even though all I say is that I don't eat any kinds of meat >>; or "YOUR STARVIN UR BODY OMG" not really, I definitely get enough to eat ^^;
My friends don't really care too much. I would just be really concerned if it were full of growth hormone and stuff, because that's probably not something people should be overconsuming...

I would like to. but to be honest I don't.
I purposely avoided this thread like the plague because of all the ridiculous lengthy discussions and arguments going on, but it seemed to have calmed down now.
Well I know all the meat cooked at home is 'aite.
It's the stuff you buy when you're out is when things get difficult. But you know, I want to eat, so yeah, I don't really care. I'm not going to ask "How was the chicken here killed? I swear down if it wasn't killed in a certain way I'm gonna screw."
When I buy my lunch out (which I have to do a lot because of Uni), I can't be bothered to check check check and check again. No. I want to eat. As long as it tastes good I'm not fussed.

I am not empathetic enough to care about the plight of farm animals. Well...fine, I might care a little bit. But not enough to do anything about it.

I absolutely don't care at all, I don't even care if the animals were ill treated unless it affects it's taste

I heard ppl taste like chicken lol, it was on a tv show so I dunno. Fact is, we are also "meat" and even though I LOVE my chicken, please don't say careless things like I don't care where my meat comes from.

welll I do care, I usualy take meat from the nearest producer..where I can see if its ok...american meat is out of the question..
I plan to get vegetarian though, because I'm sick of the smell, sick of the environnemental degradation it causes, the animal being treated the way they are, cow are not even feed with food they would actualy eat...and mostly because by remplacing meat by veggies we could feed instead of one person, 10 person for every pound of meet produced...which basicaly mean, no one would be hungry if everyone where vegetarians..lol but that's impossible
