Nothing new. Every popular straight thing has a yaoi group following it (Harry Potter, Final Fastasy, Death Note, etc)

It's leads are two pretty boys? And their personalities/looks differ enough that fangirls can totally blow them up into bad seme/uke archetypes? Granted, I've never played or read Kingdom Hearts, so all I know about it is what I read off wiki/lj/etc., but I've encountered enough yaoi fans who did not care about the original media (and some who thought that they were too smart/intellectual/etc. for it) that my familiarity with canon is probably on par with the average KH yaoi fangirl.

There's lots of shounen that's got massive yaoi fanbasis (Kishimoto even threw in fanservice for the fangirls once) and it's a combination of the media having enough appeal to get all sorts of fans interested and yaoi being something that's never gonna happen in canon and therefore prime territory for fanfic. Plus most current shounen mangas are chock full of athletic pretty boys of every personality type, with massive ensemble casts like Naruto and Bleach being prime examples of mangas with tons of (exploited) yaoi potential. And the original mangas have plots, so the fangirls get to feel like the yaoi is adding to the canon/taking it in a different direction/etc.

i say its all pent up emotional frustration that has made "yaoi pairings" from such mainstream mangas possible.
I mean why isnt there a yaoi pairing for the two dudes in Full House, joey and the john stamos character, theres a lot of homosexual tension between them so where are the fangirls drawing comics of them havign sex! i swear some things spread like a disease..,and i know the uke is supposed to represent a girl blah-blah-blah but i dont know....maybe theres just something wrong in my perception.

Because yaoi fangirls are crazy 🤢

But yeah...to each her own...>_> There are people out there that tend to put any two guys together because they show the personalities that you would see in a regular yaoi manga with the whole seme/uke thing...

'cause fangirls write slash fic instead (That took me about 3 seconds to find.)

It's also 'cause Joey and Jessy aren't pretty boys, and the fanbase for Full House is already participating in the slash fandoms of more popular media.

Because Joey isn't nearly as hot as Jesse. It'd be totally unbalanced.

nervously laugh heh........
It's amazing how people can pervert anything. I guess the main reason is that apparently the more forbidden something is the more people will go for. Like teacherXstudent or something. It's not a phase either. Girls who like yaoi will continue to like it. Too bad......no innocence is spared in the passage of time

It's the same as those nonsense hentai about how the protagonist wants oh-so-much his best friend/sister/sister of friend :V The fact is that those manga are open. If someone makes a doujin is because he/she loves it so much to make it a continuation or, probably, because he/she didn't like how things turned out and wanted to change it. This is why BL/GL doujin of BL/GL series are so rare and those of shounen series are so hype.

Seconded.
There's definitely something wrong with a 30-year-old woman
that has nothing else to do but watch men having butterkeks. <__< ;
Voyeurs are nothing compared to them.

well ff.net is closed now.

It's not sick....it's just human emotions. People needs to better control these emotions.

I don't know 😕 I guess it's just their preference like why you want random people to become a couple
