I appeciate and respect all people who scanlate manga (it's a thankless and time consuming job after all), but sometimes... you can tell the editor is either lazy or has no idea how to use photoshop (if you're going to take on the monumental task of doing manga scans, then at least do it well).
What bugs me the most about poor scanlations is the amt of japanese text left in the scan. I don't mind SFX, but some editors need to learn how to clone. Another thing is poor quality scans in general, as in badly scanned pages.

I don't know if this can be catagorized as bad scans, but I hate it when I can't understand a manga 'cause the scantalator know less english than a retarded parrot.

generally i dislike reading double pages, its not a problem if its a spread or something but you need to zoom in to read if its a normal page

I dunno, sometimes adding the l33t speak as a joke once in a while can be funny, but ya it wears thin fast when used regularly (theres a special edition of one of Gantz mid chapters which is all l33t speak, cracks me up). The only thing that REALLY gets me with poor scans is horrible botching of the english language. I mean bad grammar isn't a big deal, I mean jeeze translating is hard enough without us being picky, but when the translated text is frequently misspelled (horribly, and at least once per page), words are outright wrong, and are reused again, and again, until it because painfully obvious just how off they are, and sentences just start to make no bloody sense, so you don't even know what the person is trying to even get at anymore. I appreciate the fact the scan groups do what they do, but sometimes you have to ask yourself "If nobody can read it, wtf was the point of even scanning and translating it?"

I also hate it when, in attempt to carry over personality through translation, American slangs/dialect(Gangster type) is used... Mostly because I strongly dislike it when people talk like that 😛
Another thing, in older translations, Left to Right reading. Idk whether its like that because mangaka used to do it that way or the translator did something to the scan but I just don't like left to right in manga. I don't mind it for manhwa since they are suppose to be that way hehe.

Although I say these things, I really want to thank those who dedicate their free time to translating/editing/proofing/etc for other's enjoyment. If you get paid for it... a bit less thankful! jk lol... 🤣

One Thing! They have put alot of work into scanning every page so I appreciate what they do but I hate it when it cuts off a bit of the page and looks all diagonal!
