Considering it is the Japanese that are buying the magazines that these series are serialized in, what the North American fanbase wants counts for very little, not to mention that we are reading are the scanlations.

Well I really hope that the series gets atleast enough chapters for a good ending, it deserves atleast that much.

I'm still wondering if it really wasn't popular in Japan or not. Considering the fact that the series is typically in the top ten if not the top three on MU, it's surprising to see people writing that it wasn't popular enough to maintain an audience in Japan. When I read that it was ending, I assumed the artist was either suffering burnout or (s)he pissed off his editor/publisher. Anyone have any info to back up the unpopularity claim?

Mebbe when they meant that Mx0 will end, it will become a different series with what's-his-face finally getting some magic....ok, you can prolly guess I'm not caught up with the series, but a guy can hope, and i'll throw this hope out there. 😳

if there stoping this manga cuz its not popular in japan then there not gonna put it under a different name cuz its still not gonna be popular.. but i dont think thats the reson sence there are by far alot of manga that suck and are still published so yeh. but it sux that it ended on vol 11 . Like some others i have been letting the manga pile up sence i hate reading 1 chapter a week but from the way the manga was going when i left off it looked like it was going the same way as ichogo 100% ( not story wise ) where it says its a romance but its neglected completely and is focused on other things and there was only romance in the end of the manga .

I swear I could see this manga going for like another 10 volumes or so, it is just too early for it right now. The pace the mangaka was going at seemed like a slow one and to abruptly end it like this just seems ridiculous.

Though it what the people above said is true(there will be a sequel or whatever) than that's fine I guess.

I just hope this is some false intel that was received. I really love this series.

But I really hope this series lasts till Kazumi and this friend get to the last year in the school.

Even if (like someone said) they're just rushing him to be able to use magic, I don't think it should be considered the downfall of the story? Having him being able to use SOME magic (black card etcetc) made the story more interesting (in my eyes).

But we'll just have to wait and see what becomes of it.

Who started the "Mx0 is unpopular in Japan" explanation anyway? It's tough to believe considering the online reaction to the news but the shear number of people claiming this makes it sound like fact.

Well it is simple, Jump likes to base it's decisions whether mangas stay or not on the number of people which participated in popularity polls, so what are the numbers ?
