Mx0's art is great, and its plot isn't as shallow as other manga in WSJ. I hope to see a jump from a magazine to another - maybe he'll go a bit more plot-wise than ecchi-wise... but he does have to add more fanservice. Otherwise, the new magazine may also cut it.

Mx1 where the hell u get that from? anyway It's a shame that Mx0 is ending,I knew something was wrong with the last chapter title.Hopefully it will come back and continue.

Couldn't find a link to the Jump poll. All I was able to find was some guy at mangahelpers mention it being fifteenth out of twenty two in Jump. Not sure how reliable the commenter is either since I don't frequent those forums. I'm not sure if I should believe the post or the the comipress link sakura_r0se provided about the popularity theory.

In my opinion its total crap that Mx0 is ending in a few chapters. The main reason I have been reading it this whole time was because I thought it had the potential to get better and better and now when the plot is finally starting to pick up they decide to end it . I don't see how the author is gonna be able to give everything a proper solution in only a few chapters especially the nonexistent romantic relationship between Kazumi and Hiragi.

Yeah I mean I was really really really (x10 times) hoping to see some kind of clumsy romance and the growing of the characters and their friendship and of course the fullfillement of the wish in the end with maybe some consequences. I mean the series it's just starting to get real good. I also wish, hope, pray that we will see Mx1. It would be nice to find someone that will publish it just for the story and the work of the mangaka not the popularity/money it brings, or to ne more realistic someone who just wants a spot filled in his magazine. Whatever it takes to continue the story.

By the way I was thinking that if the mangaka saw our post here and generally everywhere in the internet with manga related posts he would want to continue and finsh it (I hope)

Maybe the same thing will happen with Mx0 as did Fire Candy. A little apology note saying that the creator was sorry and unable to finish.

At least Rosario + Vampire is still going...
I hope Mx0 gets resurrected in a similar manner.

This makes me really sad. Mx0 is probably the first series I began to read before it was very popular at all. I heard about it in passing on a forum and began to read from Ossu(-kefi -- at the time). Strange it is similar to how Pretty Face ended (same mangaka, right?), too abruptly for me. If Mx0 goes the same route the last 2-3 chapters will be a conclusion. And who knows? Maybe there will be an 'extra' post script ending like in Pretty Face.

All i want to see is the series continued with a new series name. But I see so much to be done, i don't see why end the series.

That would be the best case scenario...but, how likely do you think to be? Just like how it seemed completely unlikely that it would end so fast...

The way the story was developed...it seems to good to be true, since the story still has quite a few loose ends...

Let's wait and see.

Best case senario: Creator of MxO is taking a break and working with sum1 to make MxO the animated series. and hes gunna be releaseing MxO in full length volumes instead of chapter by chapter via Jump mag.

Worst Case: Creator is bored with the series and is gunna just stop making mx0. And start work on another project. THE BIG JERK!

Another Senario(what i think is most likely): There pulling sumthing. maybe MxO is gunna end with him trasfering and theyre gunna start a new series up like CxO(gold plate, at least i think Co is the gold plate,well u get what im saying anyway) This would also be a good outcome.

Now my question, if they do start a new series and kuzumi has transfered, will they a) start the new series based on his time at this new school, or b) will they do a 1 year later thing and start it based on him having him gone to the school and retransfering back.(i.e. like Naruto)

There's a difference.

A whole magazine got canceled. So everything in it was put on halt (Until SQ started up) with occasional stuff in WSJ.

With Mx0, the series is getting canceled. It isn't a pause à la HxH or DGM, it's a complete cancellation.

What groups of foreigners who don't actually pay for the manga think is largely irrelevant to Japanese publishing companies, so that doesn't really prove anything. You have to look at statistics from Japanese readership, which I'm told placed Hatsukoi Limited and Mx0 at the bottom of Shounen Jump's ratings.
