Does the first 2 chapters somewhat link with the last 3?

Okay so you have Natsuki who said he saw a gay couple on the beach when he was a kid. We only see their backs, but you can tell it's a light haired man (possibly blonde), and a dark haired man. Now the only reason why I'm wondering if that couple is the same from the last few chapters is because of this picture

That's the couple from the second story right? They look like they are going to the beach right?
Am I just grasping at straws or does this seem plausible to anyone else?

Omg I totally thought that too! I was scouring the comments section to see if somebody mentioned it already then I saw this! I don't think it would be too far out of the left field to assume that that was the second couple! The placement of the coloured image is purposeful I think. Even if they're not actually the couple that Natsuki saw as a kid, I'm happy to know that the hikikomori Miyawa indulged Takagi and went to the beach with him.
