Okay, I know this is such a broad request but I'll be specific, I like strong willed to manly uke. Like... not the girlish or easily swayed and give in kinda uke. Or somehow stubborn in a way.

I have a few favorite manga in the list:
Kekkonsuru Kamoshirenai Otoko (I really love the story, atmosphere, personality and characters in this one)
Ou sama no Koi Asobi (and this one too, they're from the same author anyway)
Merry Checker (I love story and character personality)
Koiyume Lovers (I love the art style and yes, again, the character personality, story is cute too)
Yakedo to Tsumeato (again! Story and character personality)
Super Lovers
Zenra's Haikyuu dj
Syaku's Gintama dj
Shirouto Yankee Kiikipatsu!!
Oh, and I do adore the seme/uke dynamics in Seiheki Strike (I REALLY find the uke adorable here...)

Well, I basically seem to like a more or less that kind of not really girlish general type of character personality so... a good story is a nice read, and a warm, soft, slice of life atmosphere is a super duper plus (but I seem to find it rare so I'm not expecting much out of it).

It might be difficult of me to ask so much but, the others are just a plus, I mainly look for a black haired uke with strong willed personality so- if you have any recommandations or a favorite manga that involved the two, I'd love to know!

Thank you so, so, so much!

Same! As a fudanshi, I enjoy bara manga especially, because so many boys in the yaoi series are so girly (I'll still read it of course, but I like a masculine uke too!) I'm completely blanking on recommandations right now though. The two off the top of my head would be:

Crimson Spell the author (FINALLY) published the sixth volume, so I'm doing a reread. Vald is pretty manly (for the first few chapters, for sure) but he's tough and stubborn, and doesn't just give into Havi (seme). I enjoy it, it has many hot scenes and magical battles and stuff too, it's a rare series for sure.

Fake is a classic. The seme is the one with the dark hair, not the uke, but it's still a fun read! And the romance is slow to come. It takes a while, but it's worth it and the series is good.

Um... I'm blanking right now, geez. 🤨

As I'm looking through my series, I'm noticing the uke is often blonde/light haired... interesting...

I'm not sure if the link will work, but have you tried the Manly Gay Couple tag? That'll be perfect for you as far as finding a masculine uke, but my mind is being blown right now. All of them are light haired. 😮

How about Sakyou Aya’s Kuroneko Kareshi series? I love the storyline and side story Fukigen Kareshi too.

Ohh, I think I did read Crimson Spell a while ago but I don't remember at what volume I was though. I just remembered that the second time I read it ends on the same place so I didn't bother checking it again after that. :"😉

Fake is it, I'll try checking it out. The cover is a light haired uke, perhaps that's why I never bothered checking it out but if you're putting it as recommendation, I'll try.

Yeah, I did check the tag already in MRM, and yes, I did notice that most of the uke are light haired that's why my reading list is really limited right now. I was posting in hoping I can find any hidden gem that I didn't notice/realize, perhaps in those one shots that contain multiple stories. I've checked the (almost) whole manly couple tag and wholesome tag (since most of my favorite manga is there) already. :"😉)

@Cherrycake
Ahh, I did, I did. But I think it was from the second series that got me disinterested. I just stopped reading it along the way, no longer adoring the uke somehow... I think I'm just too picky that way... 😞

A lot of Kodaka Kazuma falls into this, kizuna & kusatta kyoushino houteishiki. Zetsuai/Bronze if you are into drama and tragedy. Sorry my favorite ones are old 😛
