I probably watched few Sailor Moon when I was little (who hasn't?)
But what really got me hooked was CardCaptors, although I didn't like it from the start as my male instincts told be it was girly anime (I didn't know about shoujo then). Regardless, that was a good anime and I ended up watching most of them
But the only shoujo I've ever read it to end was Lovely Complex, which I watched the anime first. I even skipped school to watch it.

For me it was fruit baskets. Of course back then I watched a whole bunch of stuff I didn't really care about. So it is also just as likely that I watched other Shoujo manga or anine before.

Maybe VK? I guess that was one of my first shoujo mangas...and the most prominent of them all

I was reading Bleach and Naruto when a employee at my local bookstore recommended Kaikan Phrase (aka Sensual Phrase) to fill my romance needs. I was hooked on its silly shoujo smuttiness! Can't remember what my first non-mature/smut shoujo was.

I had watched the anime but since the manga had progressed further I wanted to read it, and then I realised that the manga was much better and thats how my addiction began

Guess it was Kimagure Orange Road even though I had actually watched episodes from Maison Hikkoku on TV before.

Shinshi Doumei Cross, was my first manga too.

Uhm, either D·N·Angel back when Aku Tenshi started scanlating it or Angel Sanctuary also very shortly after Omanga released the first book.

I can't remember which one was first since it's been a while. In any case between the birth of my second and third child, so I started reading it between October 2000 and March 2002 - so much I remember

candy candy. it's the first manga published in my country.
now that I think about it, i've been addicted to manga for almost 19 years now!!

I cannot recall the forst one i read but the first one that i liked would have been Kare Kano. Even today its still one of my favourites in regards to Shoujo manga.
