I'm not sure if it counts, but my first Yaoi was Glamorous Lip. After that, it opened the flood gates and I was reading so many I can't quite remember what came after that. But Yamane Ayano's Viewfinder was definitely one of the first, and everything by Minami Haruka.

waaaahh everyone post such good ones, took a trip down memory lane reading all the names. I think sensitive pornography was the first yaoi I ever saw, I stumbled across the anime or animix idk. otherwise Hoshi no Yakata was my first hardcore but Viewfinder if by far my favorite even though it isn't that hardcore.

Oh, I vaguely remember my first foray into yaoi, but I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone left a deep impression - the first few pages were so graphic to a newbie like me!!! Then began my voracious appetite. Still love (almost) all things Naono Bohra, Minase Masara, Yamane Ayano, Nitta Youka... List goes on. I learned yaoi could be intentionally comical from Sakurai Shushushu. Oh, memories.

My first ever bl/yaoi manga happened to be a hardcore one XD Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen De (in my mind at the time anyways, compared to recently it's a hell no)

When the teacher and student started doing it the car, I was like ABORT MISSION (my family isnt accepting of me reading manga btw so yaoi would be like they didnt know me anymore) I stopped reading everything for like a month and my curiousity got to me 😃 look at me now a closet yaoi addict. Isn't that the best outcome 😉 ....yeah, idk anymore

Viewfinder! "Damnit, my virgin eyes!" is all I could say. I've came across a few yaios down the road before (mostly SasuNaru DJ's) but only kissing and such. The first time I read Finder was pretty disturbing, I thought it was kind of gross to be doing that to a guy. By that I meant the toys, drugs (aphrodisiac?), camera scoops being inserted and the catheter in Takaba's..yknow. And all this happened in 1 chapter. I thought it was pretty violent and I literally closed it >>..by the time my yaoi "endurance" strengthened, I came back to reading it and it is now officially my favourite manga. Sucks though that it is still on-going 🤢 .
