i tried that two finger thing. it felt REALLLLY weird. these strategies to get used to that orange button sounds nice but actually doing them sigh. almost feels like i will never catch up to the speed and fifth button. 🙁 hand is spazzing must let it rest hahaha 😀

all this is reminding me of school, my suitemate had gh2 and we all killed that game. I desperately miss message in a bottle.

i got some of my best high scores drunk with no sound, i still dont know how?

but what made me the happiest was when the library at my campus put gh2 and a wii on tv's in the study room to help relax after hours of studying. they even rigged the sound so most of the room couldnt hear it.

ah thats too bad... well you just gotta get used to it i guess. it feels weird but you'll get used to it or you can do the exact oppossite of what i said, my friend does it but he does it ok, you know put your hand index-g, middle-r, ring-y, pinky- b, then practice switching positions, or you can do it my way, just move your fingers down(aka- up if your talking about sound) yup, well if you play with someone WAAAAAAY better than you, they can help you out and for some reason you just get better playing with people that are better than you, play against them on pro-face off, or jsut co-op playing hard or higher, seriously thats what i did with my friend it helped me out alot

GAH my hand is dead again. i have been beating all the songs on hard but barely. just beat arterial black on hard. took 2 tries for that one. that solo just kills me.

after switching down a button it throws me off sooo much, i try to hit it with the normal fingers and end up hitting the wrong note lol. sigh but i think i will stick to the gong down a button strategy. i am starting to hit stuff more often. 😀 . oh i noticed like....the 5th song onhard..can't remember the name. eitherway it has practically no orange except towards the end. the speed is higher but i thought i accidently chose medium when i was playing it. that is my first 5 star on hard WOOT! everything else is 3 >:-(

@daed what school do you go to? that sounds awesome to put that in the library. i haven't gone to the library at my Univ., i wonder if they have it 😀

i love the solo on arterial black on gh2 on expert 😀 sure its hard but when i was playing with my friend he is like on the same level as me so we were playing arterial black and we wwere like you know keep on switching over on pro face off so you know kept on tottering untill a while then BAM he all of a sudden got in a lead and i was like "NOOO!" and then woo solo came on then i just totally pwned it and then i was like "BWUAHAHAH" and luckily i won by like 500 points XD yah so close.

oh yah here is another strategy that helps alot. when you have to do a cord with a space between like so [][]0[]0[] like that right? usually you put your index and ring finger. and wen it like switches to this fast [][][]0[]0[]
if you switch it normally from index and ring to middle and pinky, you should just keep holding the index and ring and move it to that position, not sure if you use that but it helped me alot on pschobilly freak out on expert mode with that weird part. yup and that helps alot for me another one is when such as long part and its fast what you should do is on the next note if its a cord, find similarities to it so instead of lifting your fingers up to go to a cord(wich my cousin does alot) just keep your fingers down and go the cord or do the opposite like this

yeah i usually keep using index and ring now. i tried the middle and pinky but it feels weird and i a lot of the time accidentally hit a button with my ring when using middle and pinky.It is hard using index and ring though when switching cause a lot of the time its really quick.

like...i THINK it was war pigs tat i was playing and it has like a green yellow then red blue right after it. but it is REALLY close together. i rarely hit that. if the speed wasn't so fast i could hit it every time with just middle and pinky but i've noticed that because of how fast everything goes i grip the guitar a lot harder thus making it harder for that awkward middle pinky combo. fingers just don't wanna move how i tell them lol.

anywho was it just me or does ur square thingies have an extra fret button with it lol

This is one of the best games to ever come out. Me and my dad get on all the time and play co-op mode. He sticks on medium most of the time, but every now and then he gets a song he can do on hard (I play most on expert! 🙂 ) We played Freebird and got a score of +650,000. Haven't beaten it yet. 😢

oh yeah i am hot stuff. my general percentage is changing from 75 to 85 on hard. beat that! does a shake.

i gotta ask tho. did you guys notice your pinky getting a bit sensitive? its like i am rubbing against the corner of the button or something. its starting to hurt like skin is rubbing off or something lol

zomg freya was like impossible. that orange then blue then green hit. too fast. i almost lost. started skipping the green cause it just screwed me up lol.

Don't play so much. Seriously, take a break for a day or two, you'll probably get better. It's kinda weird, but that's helped me.

Anywho. I haven't had the pleasure of playing GH2 yet, sadly, but I have the first, which is great.

oh i did. i stopped playing for a good two weeks. when i came back i was moving a lot faster. i been playing for a good hour a day though now. its hard to stop. only thing that is starting to suck though is i am getting practically no money. its unfair. automatically cars and stuff are trashed on hard and they deduct it- i even decided to not use star power to see if that would help..it didn't..... evil game!

Edit- starting to hit these really nicely now like hand is automatically moving to orange. but still got major mess ups. like have you guys had it happen? i mean. if the orange button is involved in power chords switching to others that include say like a green combo is freakin insanely hard. can't remember which song it was that i played earlier but it massacred power chords. i had so many misses 🙁

An 'Edit' song feature or a similar one where it made a set for a song you could upload to the game or something would be awesome.

Anyway, I can usually get the chords done moderately well; I have trouble with fast back and forth switches across the board even if it's just three chords, like GY-YO-GY. I just end up not moving my hand back fast enough even if I manage to get the second chord. D:

freebird seems impossible. its like a long ways away for me. i don't even wanna think about it.

and ya those back and forth are killer. i have noticed something else though on hard. Big clusters of notes that are only with the top 4 can be really hard at times also depending on the combination. i think the last song i played was laid to rest. either that or the second second above it. i think. it has some weird killer combinations.

like does anyone have problems with fast combos like something along these line of:

GY-G-GY-RB-R-GY-RB-GY-RB-BO-GR-GY-GO

etc. see where i am going? they throw in some easy stuff but at that speed its hard to take off and on and fast switch up and down the board.spazzing my hand. ooh and those long lines of the same color sometimes seem impossible. its like no matter how fast i hit i miss one or two.

oh and late Happy B-day. can't beat getting a game for your b-day 😀 ok well you can but haha. besides the point XD

oh and about that guy that got so many points on free bird. that is a bit insane. i'd love to credit that to it being a million minute song but. that is some insane points

XD, you lost at 95% of psychobilly freakout, oh yah about free bird >> i remember one time where i wasn't as a good as i am now i can beat most of the songs without problems except jordan which i only beat twice out of like 100 times or someething. well yah i was going to finsih final song on career on expert, free bird, i was like yah its not so bad, since it so slow, then came the solo, i have no idea how many times i had to play it to win, i played it atleast 20 times 1 day, so what thats 180 worth of minutes playing 1 song! i couldnt beat it then the thing that pissed me off >> i failed it at 98% !!!! yes i was pissed!

• oh yah about that combo, is that on a song? cuz now that i think of it it looks weird when i picture it in my mind, and that one needs alot of hand switching >_> if it is ill try it out just tell me if there is a song with out
