I'm not the kind of girl that guys stare at, so that doesn't stop me. If I could buy a skirt without being ridiculed, I would.

btw what is wrong with scirts in winter?!?! If you have a sence of fashion (you can wear long socks or how do you call them stalkings or something) in the same color as the scirt i now a girl that wears them in the winter and she has hot legs 🙂

I'd freeze if I tried that around here, but I don't see anything wrong with a skirt over stockings.

That's how I felt when I started wearing "girly" things around 13 or so. But it was even worse when they started going "Oh Alex I'm so proud you actually look like a girl now... Aw..." In public I might add >.> I guess my violent side is just a remaining part of the tomboy in me lol

Rarely. Though a few years ago I used to wear them ALL the time, I don't even understand now why. 😔
But now, I hardly ever wear skirts, dresses for special occasions though. Other than that, jeans are the way to go 😀

A lot of people think tomboy = dude with boobs. So they expect certain things. Acting like a girl probably surprises them. Which really shouldn't.

I once shredded a skirt while getting off a bunk bed 'cause I hooked the skirt on the top of the ladder and didn't notice while getting down. It got caught, I fell, and the poor floor length skirt was no more.
Jumping a fence in a skirt is also win. So is running in anything slimmer than a tent, which often leads me to hiking skirts up. Stairs are also sort of painful in floor length skirts, (and I've got bruises to show for it) so I've sort of mastered the prim method of gathering a skirt and raising it up an inch.

You can pull off tomboy in a skirt, I sure do. I've got the collection of cargo and denim skirts that work nicely with boy t's. It's all in the attitude anyway.

I don't like to wear skirts, although I have a few. Well, I preffer shorts/capris/jeans <3
Because I get cold very easily...and just plainly, skirts hate me. They don't look good on me. =___=;

Thank you. That's how mine are - I can just point at something and they'll say "Aw, look at who's acting all girly girly." When they say stuff like that, it really makes me want to deny it, though. Earlier today, I was sitting by a fire with my brother and cousin, so I smelled like smoke. I told my Mama that I was going to take a shower and smell like raspberries and peaches when I came out. What does she say? "You're gonna smell girly." I am a girl, thank you very much! I am allowed to smell nice even if I like wearing jeans and I climb trees.
