Urahara always knew how to make a great entrance.
It's so unnerving to see Aizen play the innocent act, don't you think? After what we know about him and all.
Kyoraku and Ukitake looked so young, wow. And poor Nanao, she had to put up with Kyoraku's jokes for so long... I admire her inner strength ;D

Next chapter will be a continuation of this flashback, right?

As of now I think that Aizen might actually be innocent. Chances are something BIG is going to happen that is pretty much going to turn your run of the mill shinigami into an evil badass, and cause everyone else whom we currently know was formerly a member of the Gotei 13 to leave.

really cool chapter new things..about higher division then captian level..and why the visards left and how they became visards...

I dont know what everyone thinks...but it cant be a coincidence
that so many captains and vice captains became vaizards in the future.
Im thinking maybe there was a major event, like some Uraharas
crazy experiment or something that turned several people into vaizard
and maybe also had to do with Aizen turning to the "dark side".
Well ... if its something among those lines im guessing it involves the creation of the hogyoku... Cant wait to see whats gonna happen... I dont know if that applies to most of the people, but right now
im much more interested in the story than the action

I could be wrong but isn't that Yadomaru Risa? Ah, doesn't really matter. I wonder what squads Machiro and Hachigen are in. Hmm... I didn't know that Unohana was one of the original squad leader.
I also agree with some others; this back story is much more interesting than the usual action we see. I'd been wondering about the vizards for a while... was sure they'd come to save Ichigo and the others instead of the captains.
I still find some of the anachronisms quirky 😛 - what with the jazz music and all.

I had though the Gotei 13 was established much longer than this chapter implies... It seems that this Hikifune may have also been one of the orginal captains and they only reference 100 years prior to this point (200 years before the main story). Should have read closer I guess --- makes you wonder how many captains there has been.

ya that was Yadōmaru she does look a lot like nanao maybe sisters? Finally we get to find out about Isshin i wonder what captain he was. Well i guess he could only be the 6th or 10th. I'm going for the 10th captain because they said the 10th captain died and maybe isshin steps in. That would also be great to see him as the 6th captain and beating up on Byakuya like he does to Ichigo. Oh i just remembered maybe that is why Yadōmaru ended up as a pervert because of Shunsui perverted remarks all the time. That would be funny if nanao starts to act like that to.

Awesome flashback chapter. I seriously want to see Unohana in battle, considering the captains actually fear her (though if they were serious or not is kind of iffy). And this also hypes up the vaizard battles. I mean, they're strong of course, but that some of them were at captain level even before becoming leaving soul society? I have high expectations for their fights. And we still haven't seen/confirmed all of the captains of the gotei 13.

Is the Kenpachi they're talking about the Kenpachi we all know and love? Because if so, it would mean that Tousen (as a captain witness to Kenpachi's battle with the previous 11th captain) was a captain before Aizen was. Kind of weird for him to follow Aizen, though he might have done some serious training or whatever to become as strong as he gas become.
