Hinata has been screwed over for the most part in the manga and anime now but I guess we can hope if and when they go into fillers we could be getting some more Hinata action. Right now its just the story is too fast paced for any personal relationships to be allowed to develope.

For some strange reason, I've never liked girls with short hair and such a shy attitude. Therefore, I've never been one of those male readers who like Hinata. I somehow have a thing for aggressive women so my personal preferences get in the way of liking her in that regard.

OMG Hinata is my favorite character i was so happy that she was finally shown in the anime i just really hope she takes a more active role in the story. i honestly don't care about the stoopid couples people come up with but naruto and sakura is deffinatly something that could happen.

I think why people like Hinata so much is that she's got many sides to her. As that she is shy, but has an immense amount of courage. But is she a central figure in the story? No. I think that Kishi uses her as a tool to make his overall point.

She had a few minor appearances throughout the first 2 stages of the Chuunin Exam, had her big time in the spotlight during the preliminaries (which consisted of her getting the living crap beaten out of her) and gave Naruto some small encouragement before the finals, before passing out right before what SHOULD have been a very important moment for her (seeing Naruto defeat Neji). After that, she only appears on one page ( a single panel in chapter 172) until Naruto's departure at the end of part 1.

Given Tenten played a noteworthy part in the 'Rescure Gaara' arc, Hinata has now suceeded for the title of "most underused character", DESPITE her strong popularity among fans and clear role as Naruto's love interest. I've come to the conclusion that Kishimoto simply doesn't like her and regrets ever writing her into the series. When you consider how much work Pierrot put into her during the filler arcs of the anime, it seems that he's the only one who thinks this way and DAMN it is odd. And irritating; I like Hinata.

Thoughts?

Well if you think about it. Hinata's shy, cute, and a powerful warrior, well not as strong as Neji, but you get my point. She's also very determined, and has a strong resolve... And she likes Naruto... And I think her feelings towards him, and her shyness is what attracts Naruto fans... Well at least that's how it happened with me.

Call me crazy. Call me mad. But in the end, I'm not realy all that bad.

I actually disliked Hinata in the beginning, but that changed since the Hinata/Neji fight..

Meh, she was just so indecisive and didn't really play a major part in the story.. And I didn't really dislike her, but I wasn't actually interested in her either.. 🤣 Now that I think about it, I began to like her a little more when she allowed Naruto to cheat from her at the beginning of the Chuunin Exams..

But now, Hinata is one of my faves too.. And I want her more in the story.. >_> I hope Kishi'll do it..

And She's part of the main family, so her abilities must be impressive by now.

it's really gonna be interesting how hinata fights alongside her team and naruto's team. i think she is the character everybody would not hate. she is shy but will fight back if push comes to show, especially if naruto is included. hopefully she'll get a chance to appear in the next movie. among the side characters, rock lee is always there. its not like im complaining. he's a cool character too. fans of hinata should petition to have her in the next movie.
