[quote=funkmu1]Did you forget hosting sites on purpose because it breaks the rules? Manga hosting sites are great for archived manga that's been scanned awh
Edit: Strange broken double post. Ignore this.

umm..excuse me...but where do yuo usually find the new mangas shown here.. 😕 ?please reply...thank you...
ps..sorry for disturbing....im just in need of help.... 😢
You mean the manga series that have been serialized only recently, meaning this year? Or the manga that have been recently added to the MU database?
For the former, it would be this;
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?orderby=year
And the latter is this;
http://www.mangaupdates.com/whatsnew.html?orderby=date
I hope I understood~

Well, personally I don't like looking at other peoples' lists, since I don't trust other peoples' taste. 🤣 I always look for myself.
This is my personal method--it's a bit complicated, but it's ruthlessly thorough, so I don't have to bother constantly searching:
When searching for new manga to read, I like to use the "search by genre" option here, since I can choose to include genres I like and disclude the ones that I know I don't ever want to read. After narrowing the selection like this (you want to make it a pretty narrow search--around 500 series or fewer as a result is good--or you'll spend forever looking at them all), I go through them all individually, or sometimes I only look at ones whose names catch my eye. I write down the names of ones that interest me, and indicate on a scale of 1 through 5 how much I want to read them. I'll also make an indication why (for comedy, for the artwork, etc). I do this in a spreadsheet application, so that I can easily sort them however I wish. Once they are sorted into a nice list with the ones I want to read most at the top, I just pick a series off the list; and after I finish it, I just move on down my list.

Well, I just go to a certain online manga reader and I check out the new chapters/series.
If I don't like the art, it's a no, and if the art is okay, I just start reading chapter 1.
If that chapter doesn't amuse me I just don't read it.
by just reading random new series I've found a lot of manga that I like. 🙂
Pros:
You may just find a great new manga to read 😀
Manga you wouldn't hav eheard about from other people, since it's new.
Cons:
Half of the manga you start to read is crap.
and, since the mangas are new, you've got to wait for new chapters
well hope it helps
nice guide anyways 🙂
the only thing I'm worried about is if I'm not breaking the forum rules...I AM posting about a manga reader after all

Very interesting and informative. I have to say that my main way of finding manga is thru the Series Info: Ratings. Which means I'm probably missing lots of good, unknown mangas 😢

I usually ask for recommendations or go through the lists of the members whose taste I like.
And of course I check the manga list of the mangaka I enjoy.
Mmm... Nothing else seems to come up.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

wow, you've just described my ways of lurking new mangas.
but I considered it a "goes without saying" thing for everyone who wants to read some good manga.
btw I have a one more way, but it's difficult to describe it... let's see, there is a certain amounts of manga that pops up every time I try to lurk some special title or genre, and someday I end up reading this stuff. it's not like recommendation, people just tend to mention it somewhere, I get interested, lurk some info about mangaka and releases and most likely put it on wish list. sometimes I even know major plot twists and characters' special features, it's almost like I've actually read it. 😎
Paradise on my right, Hell on my left and the Angel of Death behind.

I always check all new mangas that has come to ex. onemanga, because the new mangas have often art that I like and if any of them has a good story I start reading it 😀 (of course I also read manga that isn't new)

I check MangaUnderground as they tend to feature a page from some selected title so you can see the art style immediately and get a feel for it, and because sometimes someone will kindly unearth an older series and post it. Good place to just browse through (make sure you use the right link though - http://www.mydailymanga.com/ as there's an old out-of-date version still hanging around).

I have read 600+ manga... genre search is my saver, pick the favourite genre and exclude those I don't like carefully then sort the list by rating. I can guarantee that mostly everything in the first page is great read, half of the manga in the second page is good and all the manga have the rating above 8 is fine.
If it's shounen, seinen it works great for me cuz I don't really have plot preference (love triangle, survive, demon, yazuka... ) I read everything that is good.
shoujo/josie is much more troublesome because the genres can't describe much of it and there are so many manga at the same level. I often ask for recommend, pick manga from the same author and the same scanlation group (it's surprising effective cuz the the scanlator have their own preference of plot)
