Bookstore Section

Recently I went to a small bookstore with my friends and like a radar locked on the manga section first. Before I became a manga otaku I used to go to the science fic. section, then the history, and lastly roam for the newest bestseller. So i wanted to ask if anyone had changed their patterns, or do you even have a pattern at all when you enter a bookstore?

I go to the computers, type in the title of the book, go to the section it's in, and then to the cashier.
But before that.... it used to be the kiddy section ♫

Yup. For the past 5 years, it was like that: medical thrillers -> biochemistry ->fantasy novels -> sc-fi novels -> microbiology -> horror novels -> comics -> RPG -> forensic medicine -> manga.

We have literature 🤣 and "on sale" stuff. I think I've only seen one manga in mine..... or I haven't been noticing (maybe it grew)

Big ones 😀 They're called Empik's. There are places to sit, so you're allowed to start reading a book and buy it only if you like it. There's practically everything 😀 and if you're looking for something special - give them 2 days and they will order it for you.
You're interested in RPG, skittles?

I used to troll Barnes and Noble frequently for manga until I got good enough to read it passably in the raw form. Whats even better is there's a store chain here in Japan that sells used magna for 105 yen, approx 1 US Dollar, I must say I'm in heaven atm and I've only been here about 3 weeks.

Don't take me too literally, what i meant was that i wish i could move to Japan. It's 9 to 10 US dollars per book. Before i started reading the scans online by the end of every two weeks i woud ask myself Manga or food? 😳

LOL no.... but I know you are!!
My bookstores sell books only (and others with pages... ex. magazines. Actually... I think they're just for reading)

I've trolled the kiddy section before. Like looking at the books I've read or even some ones I haven't.. So much easier to read now.. Also like looking at the I-Spy books... I feel immature saying that..
I used to just get stuff from the comic shop I worked in. Now I'll occasionally go to BN and hang out in the SF, manga, art, writing and science sections but I only buy stuff online. Go Amazon!
