I also agree with the Final Fantasy music mentions. Listening to it performed by a full orchestra is particularly noteworthy. Songs worth mentioning are: To Zanarkand (10), Not Alone (9), the little Laguna flashback theme that I often think of in 8, Ceres's theme from 6, and One Winged Angel from 7.
Kingdom Hearts - Hikari orchestrated. I have Destiny Islands as my ringtone ^_^

Aside from that, Zelda theme ftw. Mario underground theme too. Starfox Area 6(?) theme. Donkey Kong Country 2 first stage song! And Pokemon battle theme. SNES castlevania first stage, anyone? And don't forget DDR's Butterfly 🤣 Wow I'm all nostalgic now.

The remixes of the fan made HD Sonic the Hedgheog 2. remindes of goood times in my childhood. When life was simpler and my Dad pulled his punches.

I will always remember Kingdom Hearts games because of their theme songs by utada hikaru, that sanctuary song was really good.

Under the moonlight - Suikoden 2. Every time hear it i always imagine Flik stand on the top of the castle watching the moon and think about Odessa, while Nina peek from behind.

The theme song from The secret of Monkey Island is my main source of nostalgia. Hearing it makes me all teary eyed ;D

Apart from that tune, I kind of get woozy from the music during the flash man-level (if my memory isn't playing tricks on me) from Mega Man 2, Metroid, and Zelda.

The music from Doom ain't bad either 🙂

Chrono Trigger easily has the most nostalgic music and I often hum it when bored or thinking back to a good time back in my childhood. Some other noteworthy themes are Celes's opera scene from VI(or III back when it was ported), Secret of Mana had a bunch, some of the themes out of FFVII, and a couple out of Chrono Cross.
