Unreal I and Deus Ex I. It's not a surprise that they've got the music director.

Scars of Time in Chrono Cross. - i even learned playing it on the piano heheh!

Eyes on Me in Final Fantasy VIII - sometimes im annoyed at the lyrics though

Tristam Town Theme in Diablo 1 - really takes me back in time

come to think of it, there's an orchestra going around playing music themes of some of the best games then and now! it's called Play! check out one of their pieces:

Wind Scene from Chrono Trigger.
Also from CT, Frog's Theme, and well, every song in the game 😀

Songs from Final Fantasy IX.
I wonder why not many people like this game, though...
In my personal opinion, this game is better than Final Fantasy VII and VIII 😃

All Sonic music, all Mario music, and all Zelda music.

And Frog's theme from Chrono Trigger.

That's known as a "coin".

Mario games, Final Fantasy (snes ones), Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, and Monkey Island 2. That is about all I can remember right now.

Pretty much any music from any of the 8-bit greats like Mario, Final Fantasy, Mega Man, Metroid, Zelda, etc...

There's one in particular though, Blaster Master. Great game; hard as hell too. I never did beat it, but I tried hard and often enough that the music is permanently etched into my eardrums. Luckily the music was awesome so I don't mind.

Listen and enjoy.

Lol, its that very first bit where it sounds like it's building up. That always played when you first started a game and every time you died it started again (at least while on the first stage). That tune is forever stuck in my head...

Polite bump.

Sonic the Hedgehog. :] Or my first FF games. Sometimes I randomly hear a game tune, and that's enough to jog up my memory, and go all "Oooh, I remember that!"
