I know tokyo pop might be doing it, but screw them. If I don't see a volume out next month I'm probably gonna try and scan it... after I get photoshop >.>

If it's in print, scans are easy to find. And if it's running in a magazine and that particular issue is out of print, all you have to do it wait till the volume is published and buy that. Unless it's a oneshot... then you gotta search japanese auctions and hope that you can find a copy for sale. That's when things get difficult.

what i dont get is i can normally download the magazines via torrent and Kitsune no Yomeiri's only been out since april (monthly mag) so its not like its been out of print, but 1've only found the 1st chapter and i got the august issue but cant find any other. i guess i gotta make friends with some1 over there, or at least wait for the winter, really winter break (yay, going to japan this winter 😀 cant wait)

Nekoten, I don't like leaving manga unfinished no matter what it is, I read the first 5 chapters which are in turn the only ones out, so yeah, I want somebody to finish up Nekoten.

If it's a monthly, Amazon Japan probably carries it... they carry all of the big ones and quite a few of the smaller ones. Shipping is a bitch and a half, but if you buy like 4 or 5 magazines, it gets a bit cheaper per mag (it's like $30 per box plus 5 for every additional book). You could also check on Akadot and see if they have it for considerably less shipping... although their selection is pretty limited. The problem with relying on the internet for your raws is that you're at the mercy of some kid in Japan that doesn't even know that anyone reads his scans. He just throws them up on Perfect Dark or Share and then through the magic of technology, we leach them. If for some reason he decides to stop scanning in the magazine or volume or whatever that you need next, then you're never gonne get it (rarely are there multiple different people scanning the same thing). Most groups these days have infrastructure in place to at least limit things like that, but a lot of small or off the cuff groups just go around looking for neat stuff on Share, translate it, then realize that no one's scanned anything new in for the past 5 months. That's one of the reasons that I think working off of P2P scans is irresponsible and makes the community as a whole look pretty bad from an outside perspective. >_>;

On the subject, I enjoyed Majikano enough to read the rest of it that's out. Nothing particularly special, but I'm something of a perv sometimes, so it all worked out.

I just started a subscription to Rival which has your Kitsune no Yomeiri. If you want Rival, too, you can go to fujisan.com and set up a magazine subscription to it, too. I just got my first issue a couple of weeks ago and it has chapter 6. So, I can't give you the other chapters. It's also very very large and with a spine (as opposed to double-paged w/staples).

I don't know it's status but there hasn't been a chapter of Ai Girl out in quite awhile now
Also I don't how many people remember this one but kanna seemed to have potential but after 6 or so chapters it just quietly dissapeared in the night
so these two mangas are also on my plea list please won't somebody scanlate them.

i wanted to find some Kitsune no Yomeiri raws as well but i cant seem to find any. btw isnt ga rei being scaned currently
