phuck Sasuke... Itachi lives and I know it...
Zetsu took the "corpse" and gave it to Madara. Why?
Itachi wants Madara dead for more than just the obvious reasons... what are they?
Manga often has dead people come back to life... why should Naruto break the trend...?
So do you agree or disagree that god ahem Itachi is among the living...

Madara prolly took the corpse for either peins technique or to keep the eyes for sasugay.
or to keep other nins from using the body to figure out secrets about his own powers, since Itachi was one of the few to master the Mangkyuo Sharingan.
He will be missed tho.

A. he's going to do something with the eyes, either give them to someone or take them himself for whatever reason
B. Nothing, it meant nothing
A major Naruto antagonist has died finally (Though the record would suggest otherwise, only the good die in Naruto, the cannon fodder in Akatsuki don't count). But he turned out to be a good guy after all HA! Anyway, he's dead. We may see his eyes again, we may see a shadow of him with the powers he gave to Naruto and Sasuke, but Itachi as we know him is dead.

I never hated Sasuke so much until his little emo collapse after Itachi's death. I hope Itachi's alive, but I bet he's not coming back. It would be too sad to see him come back and be, like, wtf Sasuke! NOT what I wanted you to do!

But there is still that power that Itachi gave to Naruto. Maybe it`s a fragment of Itachi's soul. He might appear as a ghost like Obi-Wan^^

Anyone else find it funny how this thread lives mostly on the posts of people who don't think Itachi is alive?
Hey if Orochimaru can come back trough Kabuto and the 4th can come back (even if for a chapter) through Naruto, why can't Itachi come back through Naruto? Although I must admit, it will probably be some stupid crow genjutsu again, not permanently - similar of the 4th's 'comeback'.
On the other hand I am pretty certain Orochimaru will take over Kabuto's body soon and make his comeback. He's by far the creepiest ninja in the Narutoverse and as hard to kill as a roach, since he can just keep switching bodies.

Uh.... I doubt that Orochimaru or Itachi will come back. I think that Kishimoto made it pretty clear that both of them were obliterated. Also notice that he's killing off the sannin slowly as Naruto and Sasuke (and Sakura) get stronger. If anything, I would expect Tsunade to be killed eventually, maybe not in battle, but later on in the story.
Itachi living? No, that would screw things up. Even if you're just drawing for money, you're still going to want a comprehensible story. It was okay for Orochimaru to come back out of Sasuke because Sasuke didn't really kill him, just absorbed him.
