I watched my first anime at 4, it was Battle of the Planets. Read my first manga last year, it was either Death Note or Inuyasha, started them at the same time, so I can't be too sure.

i was like watching anime and cartoons all my life... but i just discovered manga...last year!!!

first manga i ever read was Dragon Ball and the first anime was My Neighbor Totoro!

I was 10 when I found manga. Since this is a manga site, I voted for that. First manga was Naruto.
Anime was when i was 5~6. XD First anime was Dragon Ball.

uhh I used to watch speed racer when I was really little around 3 or something. But did I know it was anime no. I just knew speed was pretty and when I played legos I liked the pretty boys XD I may have watched more anime too. In 5th grade I watched Pokemon and in 6th (10/11) I knew that there was a diffrence between cartoons and shows like pokemon/digemon.
EDIT: I forgot I watched things like Tenchi Muyo and what ever else was on and that may have been before, during, or after Pokemon. XD

I discovered manga in summer after 9th? I was 14 then. Pretty sure and the first manga was Peach Girl I think. Uhh hard to remember, kare kano, Imadoki, Mahoromatic - were all around that time.

Oh and Imadoki was the first manga series I finished. The above mentioned series I never finished XD (Kare Kano got boring, Peach Girl the volumes were always missing and I got the original ones mixed with change of heart, and Mahoromatic I just can't find DDD: )

Oh and my first Manwha was INVU. - for the longest time I liked manwha better than manga :3

First anime was Dragonball...first manga Naruto, after that I started reading other manga as well...and now I enjoy reading manga more than watching animes..

You know, I just remembered having seen some episodes of Tranzor Z (the american name for Mazinger Z) when I was younger. Not sure whether I saw that or Voltron first. I remember thinking Tranzor Z was horrible in comparison, but reading what they did to the series online, it doesn't surprise me, since it's not as close to the original as it could have been.

The whole breast missile thing was really freaky at the time, but I remembered liking the "girl robot".

I think I was about at least 7-8 years old when I first discovered anime, which was Voltron.

At the age of 12, I discover manga for the first time, and that was Ranma 1/2.

I was around 5 and the first anime was Sailor moon.....I didn't discovery manga until i was around 11 to 12 ish and my first manga was Full Moon wo Sagashite
