Amatsuki....i just asked myself: "do i really care about whats happening, or whats going to happen?" and sure enough the answer was "no", it's a shame though since the art looked so good
That's how they get you. They make you wanna keep looking at it because the drawings are awesome (Especially if they draw the opposite sex perfectly), but by the time you realize everything else in the story is shit, your IQ is shot too many points down for you to even care...
Oh, and the last I dropped was Maken-Ki. You all should already know about the thing with me and that..."story".
🤣 ....yeah that's pretty much how Oh Great! does things
that is exactly right, but in my case it is already to late for me to drop oh Great's work ( already bought all manga volumes available in U.S) 😔 ...Anyways, back to the subject, the last manga i dropped was Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! art is good but i lost interest.

I drop a lot of series because I try to buy as much as I read; though I read unlicensed series, so I might never catch up. The last series I dropped might be Nurarihyon no Mago. Though I have a habit of picking of picking up non-licensed series again, particularly if I enjoy them (signs of addiction :S). In general, I have dropped an awful lot of licensed series simply because they are expensive to buy and not because I disliked them -- though if money were not an issue I would even read series I consider mediocre to the end (just as long as I find nothing excessively disturbing) because I would like to experience many different story types. I try to drop series at a point where there things are rather resolved in terms of the plot.
On a side note, the mangaka of Mel Kano is female (Oshima Towa); the story is rather male-oriented though.

Shugo Chara! - I just lost the interest, nor did I really like it from the beginning. 😐

Kurokami, the main character is killing the story and the animation made it even worse.

Thinking of dropping To Love Ru.
It was funny at first, but now it's getting old and more perverted than is necessary, or funny for that matter...

I stopped reading a few things, but I'll start them again. I've only completely dropped 2:
Afghanistan
Nabi the Prototype
I can't remember why exactly, but they must have been bad for me to have dropped them, I'll read anything.

Akumetsu
It's not that I won't read it ever again, and it's not that I didn't like it, I just forgot to read it for the past 2 months 😀

Loveless. I stuck with it for so long because I liked the Sacrifice-Fighter concept, but everything else about the story felt vague, cliche, and uninteresting. And I just couldn't grow fond of even one of the characters. So out it went. Ah well, so it goes.
