What an awesome chapter.

Seriously. I think its one of the best in recent memory. The names of Naruto's parents. Wonderful. Confirmation that the Fourth was his Father, so hes not as much of a loser as everyone originally thought. That means hes got natural potential. Probably not as much as the Fourth, as Jiraiya stated the Fourth was a genius. But still, that means Naruto could very well be Hokage, of his own skill, not because of Kyuubi.

The theory I have is that the Fourth and Kushina kept their child a secret due to the political ramifications it would have. However, when the Kyuubi attacked, the Fourth made the decision to sacrifice his own child as the holding cell. Naruto got his mother's name because it probably wasn't a well known name in Konoha, where as the Fourth's name is highly regarded.

After the birth, Kushina was probably told he died. As such, she believe she had lost her child and her lover, so she returned to her own country. Thats one theory. Another theory is she died of childbirth. Alot of mother's do die during childbirth.

There's probably a good reason that Naruto never wondered about his parents. As far as he knows, his parents are dead. That's what he was told growing up, it's been burned into his mind forever. Instead, he looks ahead and follows his aspirations.

I don't think that Jiraiya will die. He never really boasted about his "son", so he probably deserves to boast of his "grandson". But considering what Kishi did to Asuma, who knows?

I can't wait for the next chapters now.

with the existence of medical nin i think you first theory is mor likely. anyways your first theory fits better like what do you think would have happened if they told naruto mother he was alive but had kyubi inside of him that the fourth had sacrificed himself to seal. she would have gone crazy and would tried to destroy the leaf.

I think Jiraya is gonna pull something amazing out of nowhere and live. When asuma and haku died it was completely out of nowhere. Too much was built up about jiraya.... I hope

but yea all the talk about an international child/romance between the fourth and naruto's mom brings it all one step closer to ShikaXtemari......muwahahaha

this my theory on whats gonna happen. now the important thing is to assume that Kushina is alive with that lets begin. ok jairaya is gonna get his ass kicked by pain and that lady but he escapes. after he does escape he faint and is found by kushina but before he fainted he sent a message to tsunade that he wasnt coming back. meanwhile sasuke loses his battle with itachi at the hide out but itachi again doesnt kill him but tell him some vague info about something and leaves for the atsuki headqaurter. the glasses girl traces him to the rain village. with the information of itachi being at rain sasuke follows. during this naruto meets back with his teammates when they're called back by tsunade. alright this the end of part one of my theory ill add the rest after a few people comment

and OMGZOR!!! his parents... but yeah... considering that Kushina was naruto's mother, from the whirlpool country, i would like to see somehting com out of his mothers side of the family, i mean he has the 4th (Minato Namikaze's) wind element i guess? and his rasengan... though it kinda is like a whirlpool i guess 😕

Any connectiosn there 😕 well anyway it would be cool to see a picture of his mother...

Oh and yeah... the akatsuki woman with pain (i think was his name?) = naruto's mother? sounds like ANOTHER plot twist there -.-

But Jiraya did say that she had red hair... Karin also has red hair dosn't she? lol -.-" sister 😕 ? O-O

Medical nin can't heal everything. Take, for example, Tsunade. She's lost two important people. Just like the real world, medicine can't heal everything.

I believe it to be a very sound theory. Though, I am not sure if anything will ever come of it. Kishimoto hasn't really mentioned Naruto's parents alot, and I think he plans to keep it that way.

the fourth's rasengan should've looked the same too cause everyone (like kakashi) figured out that it was the rasengan by just seeing it so it wouldn't look to different.

this is part 2 of my theory. at konaha tsunade tells the group of jairaya's possible death and tells them to go into the rain villages to find out and she also tell them why he had gone to the rain village giving them more reason to go. and ill leave it at that for now

"uzumaki" is a maelstrom in japan --> spiral

thats the reason why naruto got a spiral on his clothes

and i think that the "uzumaki"-fam might be the ancient founder of the former whirlpool country --> even more frign potencial^^

but so far best chapter since meeting sasuke after three years

FINALY!Finaly Kishi tells us something about Naruto's family!I just wonder why the chapters name is Itachi&Sasuke when they showed only a few times...but well,they should come back to Konoha soon enought(since the Nakano Tempel is there)

the whole TsunadeXJiraiya thing was also very sweet 😃 if something happens to him I'm sure she still want'S to go and help(look how stubborn Sakura is,and Tsunade's the older version! 😀 )And I don't really think Naruto's mother is the 10th Akatsuki member since Jiraiya said she was a tomboy and the member looks rather calm...

I'm still wondering where Kisame went O.o

what's the point of such a relationship when they can't be together?ShikaXTema IS a nice pairing but the only pairings confirmed for me are SasuSaku and OroKabu(lol)

EDIT:about the name meanings:Minato means Port in japanese and if his surname consists of Nami and Kaze then it means Wave and Wind.No plan what Kushina means 😢
