Namikaze means Discord or Conflict actually.

All this talk about the water element has got me wondering, what is that element known for? The wind has the ability to make things sharper or something like that (something I would have never suspected). I wonder what water is.

edit: I think the answer might be shape making or something like that as I think back on the fights that had water.

The water element beats fire. And remember Kakashi's first fight with Zabuza? That should cover it.

But isn't it a coincidence that the seal on Naruto's stomach is a spiral, like a hurricane, or that the rasengan is kinda like one? Maybe they're all a reflection of Uzumaki Kushina, probably the person that the fourth held "most precious" to him.

Maybe water is Naruto's "second" element that you gain control of later on. After all, most jonin have mastered two different ones.

As far i know this the elements that we saw on the hokages

First ( Earth and waters elements)
Second ( Water and ¿?? still unknow)
Third ( Fire and Earth )
Fourth (Wind and (¿?¿) i think is earth type)
Fifth( still unknows i think is lighning type)
Sixth ( naruto got to be water and wind)

do not jump to conclusion but will be a great development and mew jutsus with a lot of power, only think about the power behind this elements)

and maybe the fourth was also using Space/Time Jutsu for his special teleporting technique

read chapter 315&316 again, that should explain all the questions about the elements

I'm guessing everyone got the "space/time" from Sasuke in the Deidara fight. He just used Manda's teleport thingy back to his dimension and then waited to be summoned. Sasuke did nothing, except for controlling Manda.

I don't think Karin is related in any way to Kushina because she's annoying as hell. Even though Naruto is also annoying, I don't think they are related.
