GASP and a half. The 4th Namikaze Minato x Uzumaki Kushina. I always suspected the fourth and now I'm about 99% sure hes Naruto's father. That chapter was incredible. I'm also really interested in seeing if that theory on the Naruto forums about the whole sharingan thing is true or not.

I read in a Disney Adventures magzine that "Sept.8thA long-lost ninja returns in the graphic novel.Naruto volume 16." Maybe Sasuke? Maybe he defeats Itachi and returns? I hope so!

lol "Namikaze=Kamikaze" lol that was a good 1... but nami can also mean tear cant it? so it could be "Wind Tear" or somehitng like that XD but "Windwave/Wavewind" sounds pretty cool to me.

My personal take on Kushina was that she moved to Konoha after her village was functionally destroyed. That when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha, she was among the ninja fighting it despite having recently given birth and died in battle. With her death, the Fourth decided to defeat the Kyuubi no matter what the cost, and naively thinking the village would view his son as a hero, and not scorn him for the living remind of the loss the village suffered.

That Naruto is not widely known to be the Fourth's son may be because his parents never married for political reasons generated by Kushina not being from Konoha.

The simbol of naturo on his belly, is the jutsu used by the fourth when he sealed the kyubbi on him, because when the third use it in the chapter 73 of anime ( nearly volume 20 manga) the shadow clone jutsu got on his belly

Hmm... I don't mean to add any fire to the conversation >_> but the way they described Kushina. Reminds me whole heartedly of Sakura... or at least her alternate personality.

Maybe that's why Naruto likes Sakura so much; while it sounds creepy, guys are supposedly attracted to women that resemble their mothers...

this about the last chapter and this chapter what if this is what itachi wanted to tell naruto. He wants to screw with naruto's mind a bit and tell him about his mother and father. Maybe his mother is still alive and itachi knows where she is.

the man has a point, if he inherited the wind element from the 4th then its possible that he also inherited the skill to use the water element from kushina...also, anyone else want to see naruto start using that crazy teleport jutsu from the 4th 😕 !?

also lord archive makes a good hypothesis. since its the "former whirlpool country", it had to have been taken over and destroyed by another country (wave or rain or something) and since the 4th didnt want to get konoha involved, he kept kushina and naruto a secret. although im kinda leaning toward the idea that she died in childbirth.
