So, he's the rapper from Fort Minor?! That explains it...I always thought the voice seemed familiar.
I really liked him in Hybrid Theory (Linkin Park). Mixing him with Chester made an upbeat sort of music.

In the End is my all time favorite Linkin Park song, i did like their mix with Jay-Z as well, especially Dirt Off My Shoulders/Lying From You
Omg, Jay-Z destroyed the whole album :S i agree Dirt off my Shoulders/Lying from You did sound ok, but its nothing compared to the normal Lying from You. Instead of realeasing that album with Jay-Z they should had done some new imba songs and realeased them instead ^^

Been a fan of him ever since I started listening to Linkin Park 😀 I love his piano and his rap are awesome - most recently being "In Between" and "Hands Held High"

Mike is a good rapper. I especially liked his earlier tracks, from when Linkin Park wasn't Linkin Park yet. He, Rob and Brad formed a band called Xero. Anyone heard their songs? Quite good.
I loved "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora". "Reanimation" was a good idea, but repeating the whole re-creating of Meteora with Jay-Z was a bit pointless. Didn't like it that much.
And "Minutes to midnight" remind me of Depeche Mode very strongly. Not that it's a bad thing, but LP had its own style, pity they're loosing it now.
Fort Minor aren't bad, but besides "Where'd you go?" and "Believe Me", they didn't have any songs that got through to me. Okay, maybe "Kenji" did.

My friend gave me a CD with their songs... But it was long, long ago and I think I've lost the CD when I moved here. Try youtube, just type in Xero and Mike Shinoda. There are some songs, like "Rhinestone", "Fuse", "Reading My Eyes". Some of the earlier songs were later rewritten and preformed by LP.
Wait, here you go, this guy has most of the songs on his youtube account: http://youtube.com/user/RareLinkinParkSongs

awe, thanks -hugs- But to stay on topic, Mike Shinoda is also awesome at playing piano. And he's a really good guitarist.

Don't you even dare to come close to me puts a three meter stick between herself and xombie But you're welcome.
And um, doesn't Mike Shinoda play violin, too? He's quite the musical person.

he plays violin!? Damn, is there anything that he cant do? And why are you getting so defensive? Its not like I'm gonna grope you or anything. Its just a harmless hug and maybe a kiss on the cheek. 😀

just to let u know, Mike was the one who started the project and did the mashing.
@Layhe: fort minor is a hardcore hip hop group, outside of their mainstream songs, its a developed taste.

Man Fort Minor was insane! Where'd you go? was the only song I didn't like. The rest of the cd I could listen to constantly.

they're style is reminiscent of the mountain brothers, but nothing is as great as galaxies.
