dosent it really depend if your a guy you would most likely like yuri if your a girl you would most likely like yaoi unless your bi or homo 😁

Exactly what i was stating 😛 But I apologize for the harsh phrasing.
In all honesty, if you're a guy and you read yaoi even for "plot" you definitely have some leanings toward homosexuality, same with girls and yuri, no matter how you try to justify it it, you have leanings toward that direction. Besides there is really nothing wrong with being homosexual at all.

From what I remember from various documentaries I watched during a social issues class (keep in mind that this was a few years ago, could be outdated, and that I go to an extremely liberal school), men are more inherently opposed to homosexuality (I believe the reasoning actually had something to do with brain chemistry?).

Anyway, besides the fact that there are simply more guys on this forum than girls (at least I think there are...), there is probably a stronger flat out opposition to yaoi than there is to yuri. Regardless of that, I don't hate yaoi stuff, it's not really my thing, but I don't hate it. Yaoi fangirls can be terrifying though... there's seriously some stuff I don't care to remember shudders.

i dont love either in a sense of actually looking it up, but between the two i prefer yuri much more. actually i think i tend to avoid yaoi or even shounen ai

i voted for 'love both' but i really like yaoi more. yuri is good too but only if its really graphic...im a visual person. and even then the sex isnt all that exciting for me. fingers and tongues can only go so far.

yaoi on the other hand. OMG. just the thought of 2 hot men having the hots for one another and then having a hot passionate f*** is such a freaking turn on.

And I find that most yaoi has exactly the same plot. Well, I'm sure a lot of yaoi/yuri readers aren't interested in a plot.

Saying just Yaoi and Yuri is a little restricting and generalising all the manga in it's catagories. There are alwasys ones that stand out.

If the question was shounen ai and shojou ai, I'd answer both again. Same-sex interest/love is really cute. >_<
