hmmm yes, but if that was the case then hisagi may never know a lot about kensei instead of the kensei who saved him. i was thinking hisagi should at least have a chance to get to know the captain such as training with him. however if kensei knows who stabbed him then the stabber wouldn't let kensei have a chance to go back and tattle on him. so if this will be the case, then hisagi would never really have the chance to know kensei more. so the 69 on his face is just so he can remember who saved him and show that he is grateful

BUT

I seriously doubt that the connection between Hisagi and Kensei is deep in that sense. Maybe just the fact that they come from the same division. We still don't know much about the 9th.
