hahaha, A little random, just something that I suddenly thought about...
While everyone is getting sick of all those Annoying and/or Crybaby and/or "mentally extremely weak" female lead in manga,
are there any crybaby/weak female leads who actually won't get on your nerves?

I don't have any exact example right now since this random thing just popped into my mind so well, just state any manga.

ah, it doesn't have to be Shoujo specifically, but I guess this tends to that demographic more.

and NO Hentai, GL and BL(i dun think they will appear in bl manga though, but just stating~).

Thanks in advance~! 😀

wait... correct me if i'm wrong. you are looking for a female lead whom is a crybaby but not annoying?
if not, we have the "emotionally strong female lead" tag
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Emotionally+Strong+Female+Lead&orderby=rating

and personally i suggest Otoyomegatari

Nakanmon!, maybe? She is a crybaby, but I don't find her annoying, since she is funny and tries to improve with every situation.

Hapi Mari Chiwa does cry in every situation. For a mature woman she shows her emotions too easily to others, but she's also strong and tries her best. I like her very much. Hokuto and she are a wonderful and suitable couple.

I'd suggest Kubera or Knight Run 😉

From Far Away - one of my favorites~ She cries very often, but it actually helps to emphasize her strength, because she's always working hard and doing her best through her tears.

hahahahaha, yes, i'm looking for a female lead who is weak / a crybaby but not annoying.

Otoyomegatari is in my wish list, i am waiting for more chapters to come out till I start reading it. 🙂

Thanks by the way~ =^^=

and Thanks everyone for the recommendations, do keep more coming if possible? 😀

I have read From Far Away, Nakanmon! and Hapi Mari.
hahaha, and I just realise that Chika really do cry in many situations but I like her alot! especially with Hokuto. x3

yep and they are what I'm looking for~ thank you!

I've read Hiyokoi as well, yea she's so cute and innocent. but sadly at times, a little too naive that I get a little annoyed, but as a whole, haha i can overlook that aspect~ 😀

I will try reading Kubera,Knight Run and Futari no Himitsu.

THANK YOU~ =^^=

I quite like the genre of "not annoying crybaby female lead" a lot too, haha. It's the primary reason I don't like many shoujos.

A recent one I enjoy reading is: Song of the Long March. It's set in the Tang Dynasty in China, the protagonist is a female that is seeking revenge. She's smart and skilled in martial arts. 🙂

7 Seeds is also a great series, and a large cast. One of the leads (Hana), is strong female lead, but another one, Natsu is an annoying crybaby in the beginning. That said, Natsu really develops as a character.

Also, give Six Half a try. It's more on the shoujo side (the previous two have female leads, but are a lot more plot driven).

Hope this helps!

Tsuki no Shippo - Usa crys a lot, but from what I can remember, it's for the rigt reasons. Ex: Loss of a loved one, Worrying over freinds and her lover, ect.. Hope this is what you are looking for!

Majin Tantai Nougami Neuro She's weak/powerless, and sometimes she cries but she has VERY good reason. Likable character.

I guess there's always Sailor Moon too.

I think Natsuki Takaya is very good at crybabies that aren't annoying in my opinion. I am not too found of shojo mainly because of the females, but somehow Tohru didn't really grate on my nerves and even though I was not a fan of Hoshi wa Utau Sakuya was an ok character.

Akatsuki no Yona You might be annoyed with her in the beginning, but if you stick with it, Yona becomes a very worthy protagonist.
