so what manga do you think would lend itself most to be made into a video game?

I think either Battle Royale or Highschool of the dead would be amazing

Ao No Futsumashi maybe? lol. I just love that manga, and I think the fights would be awesome... lol

Black Lagoon definately - just imagine running wild like in GTA and not get chased by cops (without cheats that is 🙂 )
I bet I'd play that game in Japanese even though I don't understand anything...

Hellsing or Berserk - Action RPG ala Prototype style.

There are also several that I think should make rpgs set in the world of certain manga, but not follow the story. After all, more than half of a good jrpg IS the story, so if you've already read the manga... Doing it all over again can be a drag.

If they did a Dragonball rpg (jrpg or oblivion style) with your character being a more generic/customizable one... I'd be all over that, despite the fact that I normally steer clear of anything dragonball. In fact - most big shounen manga could get away with it.

The one I'd like to see most though:

Hunter x Hunter
